Indian restaurant in Songdo for an anniversary: Set A, Manokamana
In short
Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 is an Indian curry restaurant in Building C of Triple Street in Songdo, Incheon, where Indian and Nepali chefs cook every dish. For an anniversary the writer ordered Set A for two: green salad, lassi, chicken mushroom soup, samosa, tandoori chicken, king prawn, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, all seasoned gently so each ingredient's own flavour came through. For anyone who wants a curry that isn't spicy, the generous Manokamana Set A makes a fitting anniversary meal.

Manokamana has two branches in Songdo! Branch 1 is near Convensia (932m from Exit 4 of Incheon National University Station), and Branch 2, where I went this time, is in Building C of Triple Street. It had been a while since I last had Indian curry, so I went in with high hopes ♪
Seating and the open kitchen at Manokamana Branch 2
Branch 2 has seating on both the 1st and 2nd floors plus group tables, so there seemed to be plenty of tables. There was a note saying the food is cooked by Indian and Nepali chefs, and the kitchen next to the 1st-floor counter is connected by a clear window, so you can actually see the chefs baking naan and cooking.

What's the difference between Set A and Set B?
Compared with Set B, Manokamana's Set A adds chicken mushroom soup, samosa and king prawn, and it has more curry and naan options too. There were plenty of à la carte dishes, but we came for a set meal, so Set A it was!

A mild curry for spice-shy eaters: chicken tikka masala
There were so many curries to choose from, and since I can't handle spice, haha, I picked from the mild ones: chicken tikka masala, made with boneless tandoori chicken.
- Ordered: Manokamana Set A (₩30.0) for 2
Set A first course: green salad and lassi
The first things to arrive with Manokamana's Set A are the 3 basic side dishes, a green salad and the lassi you chose.

The salad topped with tangerine was fresh and a perfect appetizer. For the lassi we picked one strawberry and one mango, and the mango, which was fresher and richer in flavor, seemed to go better with the meal!
What do the chicken mushroom soup and samosa taste like?
The second course of Manokamana's Set A is chicken mushroom soup and samosa.

Samosa (a traditional Indian and Nepali dumpling of potato and vegetables with spices) is something I crave almost as often as curry. I love that slightly dry, dense bite, it's addictive, hahaha. At Manokamana the filling isn't drowned out by curry spices and tastes great! I noticed it from the salad dressing already, but overall every dish had a seasoning that wasn't harsh and let the natural flavors come through.

I think this is the first time I've seen a soup in an Indian curry restaurant's set menu! It's a cream soup with chicken and mushrooms, and I couldn't taste any unfamiliar spices, so it was smooth and rich in a way nobody should mind ♡
Tandoori chicken and king prawn in Set A
Manokamana's Set A comes with tandoori chicken and one king prawn per person.

Look at that, amazing, right?! The tandoori chicken came out golden and nicely grilled, with nothing overly charred!! I learned that "tandoor" means a traditional clay oven shaped like a jar. It comes in a variety of cuts, and the tandoori cooking method means even the cuts people usually call dry weren't dry at all, which I loved ₍ᐢ⸝⸝› ‹⸝⸝ᐢ₎

The king prawn, one per person, was also well grilled, plump and savory ꩜
Chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and rice
Set A at Manokamana ends with curry, garlic naan and plain white rice. We got a big naan and white rice with our chicken tikka masala curry.

With so much in the set we were already a bit full, but I still had to try the curry, hehe. Rice comes as standard so you won't be left wanting, but naan is the perfect match for curry ⑉♥ I'm normally a sweet honey naan person, but the garlic naan had a subtle garlic aroma and was plain in a good way, and it definitely brought out the curry's own flavor more.
How big is the Set A portion at Manokamana?
Overall, Manokamana's Set A was a really big portion!! We're not the type to leave food behind (especially protein..), but the curry also had a lot of chicken in it, so we couldn't finish the tandoori, haha, sob.
The owner was also so kind, which made it a lovely place for our anniversary meal! If you're looking for authentic Indian curry in Songdo, I recommend Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2. This post was written after a visit in June 2026, so check the restaurant's latest notices before you go.
