A house-like 1st floor, window-wall 2nd floor, rooftop 3rd floor
Café Ohkam sits in an alley tucked just off Konkuk Univ Station. It's an easy place to walk past, but that only adds to the hidden, emotional-café feel.
It feels like it was converted from an actual house, which gives the whole café a warm atmosphere.
2nd floor The second floor was much more atmospheric and lovely. With the window-wall view, you can see everything outside, which I really liked.
3rd floor rooftop It would be great on a nice spring or autumn day, but on a scorching August afternoon, the 3rd floor was a bit much, haha. I'll give it another shot next time when it's cooler.

Ohkam is already a well-known café near Konkuk Univ Station, and especially famous for its mango cake and mango bingsu (shaved ice). Famous, famous, famous.
I'd already eaten a meal beforehand, so I ordered an americano with mango cake.
Aren't these cookies so cute, haha? It looks like they intentionally placed the chocolate in a face shape to make it adorable.
They also had fruit sando (fruit sandwich), which is trendy these days. I need to come back and try it next time. You just wait for me!
How were the mango cake and americano?
They say good-looking food tastes good too, and this was plated so beautifully. A sweet cake with americano really is the best dessert combo.
HOT americano You might think, hot coffee in this heat?? But this was my mom's pick. I broke my ice-americano-only habit a while ago, but I still can't quite do hot drinks in summer, haha. I respect everyone's personal taste.
ICE americano The acidity wasn't strong and the beans had a nutty style, so it was an easy-drinking flavor for anyone. The bitterness wasn't overdone either, which paired really well with the dessert.
Mango cake It's just packed, packed full of fresh mango. One bite and it simply disappears in your mouth. This is a true dessert destination near Konkuk Univ Station.
