In short
Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch is a bar in Guro, Seoul, serving drinks and a wide range of bar food. We ordered kimchi cheese pilaf, charcoal-grilled barbecue chicken, and grapefruit Soonhari, then packed up the generous chicken portion. I went out for a drink for the first time in a while. I do not usually seek out alcohol, but Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch had lots of different drinks and delicious food, so I had a really tasty time there!

Once you enter Gudi’s Kkalkkalgeori street, there are countless bars. There are lots of office workers around here, so it is perfect for a beer after work, you know~ I went for an early dinner, but when I left, this place was absolutely buzzing~

Monthly Beer at the end of Kkalkkalgeori

Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch is on the right at the very end if you enter Kkalkkalgeori and keep walking straight.

It opens from 2 p.m., so it would be great for daytime drinks too, right?

There is a menu board outside before you go in, so you can look everything over and choose before entering.
Soft lighting and plenty of tables

I arrived around 5 p.m., and there were already customers there. The space was very comfortable and clean.

With its soft lighting, it has just the right atmosphere for a drink. There are lots of tables too, so it would be great for a group gathering.

Once we went in and chose a table, they brought over the complimentary snack. It was incredibly crunchy and tasty! It was a mix of Jjanggu snacks and several other crackers, and it was so crisp and nutty that I kept reaching for more.
Choosing food and drinks

They run lots of events here. Be sure to take part in the review event and roulette event for some perks..! From signature dishes onward, there were so many choices: soups and stews, fried dishes, pizza, pasta, Korean food, ramen, and more. It took us quite a while to choose ㅠ There was lots of food, but the drink selection was seriously varied too. Along with soju and beer, there were all kinds of highballs, so drink lovers can pick exactly what they fancy.

The two of us ordered two dishes and one drink: charcoal-grilled barbecue chicken, kimchi cheese pilaf, and grapefruit Soonhari. Order complete!

It was my first time trying grapefruit Soonhari, and it was easygoing even for people who cannot drink much. I expected small glasses, but they brought ones almost the size of beer glasses, so we split it nicely between us haha.

Pilaf loaded with soft-set egg and cheese
The first thing out was kimchi fried rice. It had been a while since I had kimchi fried rice, and it passed the visual test right away.

The egg was cooked soft, so it was great mixed into the rice. There was loads of cheese underneath, and the combination of cheese, egg, and fried rice was a work of art. It was so good that we finished every last bit.

Charcoal-grilled barbecue chicken with loads of sauce
The charcoal-grilled barbecue chicken was a seriously generous portion, right? It came with loads of sauce, so it would be perfect with extra noodles or rice. It was so well coated in seasoning that it was not dry at all.

I recommend eating the rice cakes right away when they arrive, since they can harden as they cool. The chicken was boneless, so it was perfect for eating in one bite. It was tender and easy to eat, and the seasoning was not spicy, so even people with a low spice tolerance can enjoy it! Personally, I also recommend adding udon noodles or rice.

Soonhari is a light drink, so I barely felt tipsy at all, and it was lovely to have a glass alongside the tasty food. If you order the barbecue chicken, I recommend ordering a rice dish too and dipping it in the sauce!

In the end, the portion was so large that we packed up the barbecue chicken. I brought it home and had a delicious meal from it! The seasoning was so good that it was perfect mixed into rice.

We left around 7 p.m., and the clouds in the sky were so beautiful that I took a quick photo. Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch has lots of tasty dishes and a nice atmosphere, making it great for both group gatherings and small meetups. I recommend it!
