Guro Seoul Korean BBQ with unlimited dakgalbi: Bak Jeongmi

In short

Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi is an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant in Guro, Seoul, near Guro Digital Complex Station. My husband and I tried the 20,500 won two-hour free pass, with dakgalbi, pork belly, chicken, instant tteokbokki, and drinks. A tempting pick for a work dinner or post-work drinks in Guro.

I’d been meaning to try this all-you-can-eat meat place in Gudi (Guro Digital Complex) forever, and I finally went for dinner with my husband recently! It’s Bak Jeongmi Charcoal Dakgalbi, close to Gudi Station!

There were more kinds of meat than I expected, plus instant tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried rice, and drinks all in one place. And most importantly, alcohol lovers, listen up... unlimited soju plus draft beer for two hours is ₩9,900....!!!

Isn’t that a pretty tempting price for office workers looking for a company dinner or a post-work drink in Gudi? Haha

Close to Gudi Station and open late

Location information for Bak Jeongmi Charcoal Dakgalbi

Hours are 11:30 to 01:00 daily, with last orders at 23:00.

What I liked from the start was the location: about a one-minute walk from Gudi Station! Gudi has so many offices, so lots of people grab dinner after work or go for a second round of drinks, right? Being near the station made it seem like a solid company-dinner spot too.

A spacious interior for group gatherings

The restaurant says it is about 100 pyeong, and it definitely felt roomy! There were lots of tables with some space between them, so even when it was busy, it didn’t feel like everyone was packed together.

Meat restaurant seating area for groups

Best of all, there was an area where groups could sit, so it’s great for Gudi company dinners or office get-togethers 👍 With unlimited meat and drinks, a place like this is honestly easier when choosing a company-dinner menu is hard, haha.

Two-hour free pass menu and prices

Two-hour free pass menu and price information

The two-hour free pass lets you freely eat seven kinds of meat, two kinds of chicken, soft drinks, and fried rice! Weekday lunch is even ₩18,900, haha. We ordered the two-hour free pass that day.

Review event to check when visiting

In-store review event information

They were running several review events too, and I can never just pass those by, haha. Participation details and gifts may vary by visit date, so check the event notice at the restaurant. We joined in and got a cute little gift later 🤣 I’ll show you below.

The self-service bar, from meat to tteokbokki

Self-service bar stocked with dakgalbi and chicken

Along with meats like dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) and pork belly, there was chicken and tteokbokki too!

Self-service bar with vegetables and side dishes

There were vegetables and all kinds of side items, so you can take whatever you like. I’m the type who eats lots of ssam vegetables with meat, so I piled them on from the very beginning haha.

Chicken to have before grilling the meat

There was chicken too. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was quite crispy outside and honestly much tastier than I thought? Haha. It was perfect to snack on while waiting for the meat to cook... but if you keep eating it because it’s good, there’s no room left for meat lol.

Unlimited dakgalbi in several flavors and pork belly

Several varieties of unlimited meat

Time to properly head out for meat! The meat corner was generously stocked, from dakgalbi to pork belly. Salt-grilled dakgalbi, chicken neck meat, soy-marinated dakgalbi, gochujang-marinated dakgalbi... the great thing about all-you-can-eat is being able to take small portions of several kinds instead of eating only one flavor the whole time!

First plate of dakgalbi

For the first round, dakgalbi! But seriously... it looked pretty good too, right?

Make-your-own instant tteokbokki

And I really love tteokbokki. I never expected to be able to make instant tteokbokki here too, haha. You just take as much as you want from the self-service bar and let it bubble away yourself.

Instant tteokbokki bubbling on the stove

When you keep eating only meat, sometimes you start craving a different flavor, you know? A bite of tteokbokki then feels like a reset, haha. At this point, I started wondering whether this was a meat restaurant or a buffet 🤣

Unlimited soju and draft beer for two hours: ₩9,900

Unlimited soju and draft beer information

And if you’re looking for a Gudi bar, pay attention here. Unlimited soju plus draft beer for two hours: ₩9,900! These days, the bill rises quickly after just a few bottles of soju or beer at a bar, so I think this would be very tempting for people who drink a fair amount.

Two-hour unlimited alcohol offer

And the ₩20,500 free pass we had included soft drinks with no extra charge. People who do not drink can have meat with soda too, so that’s great 👍

From the different flavors of dakgalbi to pork belly and chicken, it was all unlimited, and every single thing had impressive quality.

Unlimited dakgalbi and chicken menu

And it would be a shame to eat only dakgalbi, right? Pork belly went straight on beside it, haha. Dakgalbi grilling on one side, pork belly grilling on the other... the grill got no break 🤣

Dakgalbi and pork belly grilling together

Being able to eat as much chicken and pork as you want in one place was definitely nice. Some all-you-can-eat places have lots of options but only a few dishes you actually reach for; here, the things I tried were generally better than I expected!!

Ring gift received through the review event

And finally, the ring we got for joining the review event, haha. Cute, right? 🤣 We could eat as much dakgalbi and pork belly as we wanted, along with chicken, instant tteokbokki, fried rice, and drinks. And for alcohol lovers, of course, unlimited soju plus draft beer for two hours for ₩9,900! I think that may be the biggest selling point!

If you’re looking for a good-value all-you-can-eat meat restaurant in Gudi, or a Gudi bar with unlimited alcohol, Bak Jeongmi Charcoal Dakgalbi is worth keeping in mind :)
