Today I want to introduce a place that felt even more atmospheric and emotional because I visited on a rainy day. This is my review of Forerest, a Uijeongbu café where I spent a relaxed time with high-quality, delicious desserts in a spacious, comfortable space ☕️🌿

Forerest's location and parking
Forerest is located at 181 Nokyang-ro, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do. Driving there, you pass a crosswalk on the main road and the entrance appears right on the right side, so it's really easy to find even on your first visit. There's also a well-arranged parking space in front of the store, making it a great spot to visit comfortably, even as a little drive 🚗

Wood-chip floor and full-length mirror photo zone
Walking inside, the first things that catch your eye are the tastefully decorated, nature-friendly spaces. The wood chips laid on the floor, the wooden stepping stones, and the full-length mirror set up with pretty lighting make for a perfect photo zone to capture your visit 📸 I definitely recommend getting a mirror shot!
Open year-round, 11:00–24:00
One of Forerest's real strengths is its hours. It's open every day from Monday to Sunday, 11:00 to 24:00, all year round. If you're looking for a large Uijeongbu café where you can take your time without being rushed even late at night, there's nowhere better 🌙

Wood-toned interior with high ceilings
The interior is overall decorated in a warm, cozy wood-toned style. The ceilings are high and the walls are floor-to-ceiling windows, so the space feels wide and never stuffy, and the tables are spaced generously — a really comfortable atmosphere for chatting with your group ✨

The reason I actively recommend this place as a Uijeongbu café among so many others is that you can fully unwind in an open space, and it's great for a relaxed late-night date. Above all, the dessert quality is excellent, so it's a place that'll earn praise no matter who you visit with 👍

The mood at the window-wall seats on a rainy day
It happened that the day we visited, it was drizzling steadily. Watching the green plants and falling raindrops through the huge windows, the rainy day made the atmosphere feel several times more romantic and emotional 🌧️

What we ordered — americano, chamomile, two Basque cheesecakes
After settling into a seat we liked, I carefully looked over the counter menu, which had a variety of drinks and desserts ready. From coffee to non-coffee tea options, there was a wide range to choose from depending on your taste 📋

Iced americano / chamomile, Basque cheesecake (plain, matcha). To enjoy the perfect tea time alongside sweet cake, we ordered 2 iced americanos, a chilled chamomile tea, a Basque cheesecake, and a matcha Basque cheesecake, filling the table generously ☕️🍵

Why it's famous as a Uijeongbu cake spot
Forerest is already very well known among dessert lovers as a top Uijeongbu cake spot. The reputation isn't exaggerated at all — the cake is famous and delicious, and I let out a gasp of admiration from the very first bite 🍰

What surprised me most was that even though I was already full from a meal before coming to the café, the dessert was so delicious I couldn't put my fork down. I kept eating until it was all gone, which surprised even me 😋 The combination of the nutty iced americano and sweet dessert was pure truth.

Plain Basque cheesecake
As you can see from the cross-section in the photo, it has a very dense, thick texture. The smoky scent on top and the creamy, rich cheese flavor inside spread fully through your mouth — it was truly a work of art 🧀
Matcha Basque cheesecake
The plain Basque cheese was perfect, but the matcha Basque cheesecake, with its bittersweet yet deep matcha aroma, was excellent too. If you visit Forerest, whatever else you get, I strongly recommend ordering the Basque cheesecake 🍵

Wrap-up
It was a time of properly relieving stress while listening to the rain and enjoying great desserts in a spacious, comfortable, nature-friendly space. If you're looking for a comfortable Uijeongbu café open late at night, or want to try an unforgettable cheesecake, definitely visit Forerest, the large Uijeongbu café! I recommend it wholeheartedly as the perfect Uijeongbu café to make your day even better 💖
