Ttukseom Station pasta restaurant, office lunch: Beet Set at Brivite
In short
Brivite Seongsu is a pasta, gnocchi and steak restaurant in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, near Exit 4 of Ttukseom Station. After waiting over an hour on a weekend, the writer returned for a weekday lunch, got in without a long wait, and ordered the Beet Set: scallion cream corn gnocchi, spicy jambon risotto and a Greek yogurt & tomato salad. To enjoy a Brivite Seongsu set menu on an office lunch break, a weekday lunch is the better bet.

Do you know Brivite Seongsu? ☺️☺️ It's famous as a Seongsu-dong pasta spot, and on weekends the wait is enough to make you faint. The place is adorable and the plating is on another level, so I took a weekday lunch chance and came back to write this review 🐾

Brivite Seongsu wait: how busy is a weekday lunch?
On a weekday lunch the restaurant was almost full, but I got in without a long wait. Last time I came on a weekend and waited over an hour in freezing weather... hehe..🥹 That was a weekend, though. This time I came at weekday lunch and got lucky with no long wait! Lucky me🌿🌿
It also happened to be one of the most beautiful days of this spring (maybe this spring just makes everything look pretty even if you only stroll around the neighborhood..), and Brivite looked heart-fluttering pretty even from the entrance 🩷
The restaurant was already close to full, and if we'd been a little later we'd have been on the waiting list haha. An office worker's precious lunch hour, where every minute counts, must be saved 🥹

Brivite Seongsu atmosphere and seating
Brivite Seongsu has more tables than you'd expect, yet it doesn't feel cramped. The tables suit groups of 2–3, so it's good for a Seongsu-dong date, a reunion with old classmates, or any meetup. Atmosphere, checked ✅️

What to order at Brivite Seongsu: Bri Set vs Beet Set

Brivite Seongsu has set menus at reasonable prices for two people: the Bri Set with steak as the main, and the Beet Set with pasta, gnocchi and more! Both come with a main, an appetizer and a drink, and they cost less than ordering each item separately, which I liked!
I picked the Beet Set and ordered scallion cream corn gnocchi + spicy jambon risotto + Greek yogurt & tomato salad + 2 sodas.

Greek yogurt & tomato salad: why I ordered it again
The Greek yogurt & tomato salad at Brivite Seongsu was so so good last time that I nearly fainted, so I ordered it again. (Highly recommended!) (Please, please order it!)
Sweet-and-sour Greek yogurt with tomatoes, wow.. and the colors together are gorgeous too.😆

How does the signature scallion cream corn gnocchi taste?
The scallion cream corn gnocchi is Brivite Seongsu's signature best seller, and the chewy-yet-crispy gnocchi, the salty cream sauce and the sweet corn made a perfect trio!

Spicy jambon risotto at Brivite Seongsu
The spicy jambon risotto (jambon is Korean-style ham) has plenty of spicy cream sauce over the risotto, plus a generous jambon topping 🩷🩷 Every dish at Brivite Seongsu comes out beautifully plated, what is going on?!!!🩷😆

Beet Set verdict and what to try next time
The Beet Set combo I ordered at Brivite Seongsu worked really well, with the salad's sweet-and-sour, the gnocchi's saltiness and the risotto's spiciness going sweet-salty-spicy, sweet-salty-spicy haha.
At other tables lots of people ordered the Brivite steak with its cheese waterfall performance. (Of course it's delicious.) (I want to try new dishes, but just hearing the names of ones I've had makes me want them again..) (Brivite, the Ttukseom pasta spot that gives you serious decision paralysis)
To anyone visiting after reading this post: Brivite Seongsu has lots of delicious dishes, so please order plenty of different things!
