Jamsil cake shop: same-day wedding-invite gift cake, Circus Rabbit
In short
Circus Rabbit (서커스래빗) is a handmade lettering cake shop on basement level 1 of Jangmi Shopping Center Building B in Songpa, Seoul. The writer ordered a No. 1 lettering cake (48,000 won) on short notice as a gift for her older sister's wedding-invitation gathering and picked it up the same day; the Circus Rabbit rabbit cake, tied with a pink ribbon, was still in good shape the next day, and its milk cream was not greasy. For a lettering cake for a wedding-invitation gathering in Jamsil or Songpa, Circus Rabbit is worth recommending for both price and taste.

Circus Rabbit (서커스래빗) is open 10:00–19:00 and closed on Sundays and Mondays. You'll find it at B2-10, B1, Jangmi Jonghap Sangga Building B, 112 Ollimpik-ro 35-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
I was searching for a lettering cake for my sister's cheongmo (청모, a gathering to hand out wedding invitations) and found Circus Rabbit, a great lettering cake spot in Jamsil and Songpa. You can get a cute cake at a very reasonable price, so here's my recommendation review, let's go!
How do you get to Circus Rabbit?

Circus Rabbit is a 9-minute trip from Jamsillaru Station on Line 2, inside the Jangmi Jonghap Sangga underground arcade. The arcade is pretty big and it's easy to get confused, but if you enter through Building B, Gate 8, the shop is right there, so be sure to use that one.
The owner also explains the route in detail over KakaoTalk, so no need to worry.
Circus Rabbit's exterior and inside the shop

Like I said above, you can get lost if you come in through another entrance of the Jangmi building, so I really recommend using Gate 8.

And there's Circus Rabbit, just inside Gate 8!

They also had a carnation cake that would be great for Parents' Day. I bet it's super popular then.

Circus Rabbit sells cute candles too. And unmanned pickup is possible, which I really liked.

They had butter tteok (rice cake) too, and I wish I'd tried it.. next time for sure..🤣 It's not only cakes they sell, so browsing is fun, which I liked. I almost put one of everything in my basket.. haha
Circus Rabbit says it uses 100% animal-based fresh cream only, with no emulsifiers, preservatives or chemical additives.

How much is the No. 1 lettering cake at Circus Rabbit?
The No. 1 lettering cake at Circus Rabbit was ₩48,000. The price may differ by design, so please keep that in mind.
And the really great part: I ordered in a rush on the same day, and luckily I could pick it up that same day.
Can you reserve on Naver too?
Circus Rabbit also takes Naver reservations, so you can easily book before you visit.
How to pick up your cake at Circus Rabbit

After booking, Circus Rabbit explains the unmanned pickup in detail, so I expected to pick it up on my own, but luckily the owner was there and helped me quickly.

I could see other customers' cakes too, and there were so many cute ones.

The weather was so nice on my way out that I took a shot📸
The No. 1 lettering cake for my sister's cheongmo: how did it taste?

The Circus Rabbit No. 1 lettering cake was seriously so so cute.. and the pink ribbon tied on as an accent was such a thoughtful touch.

Because of my schedule I picked it up and ate it the next day, and it was still perfectly fine and really delicious. Refrigeration is a must though, so be careful.

A cute cake that made both the giver and the receiver so happy🎂 It was even cuter in person, haha. For a cheongmo, this is a place I really recommend for a lettering cake.

The cake was so cute that I didn't expect much on taste, but it was really, really delicious, honestly.

The milk cream wasn't greasy at all and was so so good, like eating pure milk. The sponge was really soft too.

The rabbit in the middle was so cute that we couldn't bring ourselves to cut it, which was adorable. It was almost too cute to eat, but it was so delicious that it went down easily.
Verdict: Circus Rabbit for a Jamsil/Songpa cheongmo lettering cake
I found Circus Rabbit, a great lettering cake spot in Jamsil and Songpa, while searching for lettering cakes. I thought ₩48,000 was a decent price for a No. 1 cake, and the lettering was so cute and the taste really good, so I truly recommend it.
People usually meet at Gangnam Station for a cheongmo, but I really recommend picking up a cake at Circus Rabbit and giving it as a gift.
