Korean BBQ buffet in Jamsilsaenae with toddler tableware: Muhan Paldo

Why do I keep craving meat lately~ This day, my boyfriend and I were wondering what to eat, and we ended up going for meat again. Here's my Jamsilsaenae pick: Muhan Paldo Daepae (무한팔도대패)!

Why go back to Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae a third time?

I'd already been to Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch twice with my own money, before being sponsored, so I went back without a second thought. The price is decent and you can eat until you're stuffed, so it pops into my head every now and then. It's a short walk from Saenae Station, so it's easy to find too.

Is there a wait at 8pm? Atmosphere at Muhan Paldo Daepae

We got there around 8pm and luckily there was no wait. Inside, though, it was packed~ There were lots of families, students, and quite a few Chinese tourists, so I thought, wow, this place has really gotten popular. It was noisy, but I actually like that kind of BBQ-joint vibe, so it was fine with me.

How much is Muhan Paldo Daepae? ₩37,800 for two

We ordered the Premium unlimited shaved pork set (프리미엄 무한대패) for two. It was ₩18,900 per person, ₩37,800 in total. Add ₩5,900 per person and the soju is unlimited. If you drink a lot, this is a seriously good deal!

There was bread too, so it looked easy for kids to eat here!

6 unlimited meats plus ramyeon and fried rice

The Premium set lets you keep eating 6 kinds of meat: shaved pork belly, shaved pork neck, flower pork belly, frozen pork belly, Korean pork shaved cut and beef brisket. Ramyeon and fried rice are unlimited too, so honestly this price is really good! A single serving of pork belly outside already costs ₩18,000, right?

Grill the beef brisket first at Muhan Paldo Daepae

At Muhan Paldo Daepae I always recommend starting with the beef brisket (우삼겹), haha. It's so tender and nutty, it was amazing from the very first batch. I told myself I'd have just a little and then move on to pork, but it was the kind of taste that kept me refilling.

After the beef I also grilled the shaved pork belly and flower pork belly, and what surprised me was that even after eating a lot, it wasn't as greasy as I expected. Many buffets make you sick of it halfway through, but here I hardly felt that, and the meat wasn't tough, so it just kept going down. That's why I understood again why I'd paid for two visits before, haha.

Is the self-serve bar clean? Grilled mushrooms and sauces

The self-bar at Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch is better kept than I expected. At some other buffets the food is laid out chaotically, but here it was tidy overall, so it was easy to grab just what I needed.

We grilled mushrooms too, and they were a real treat. If you eat only meat you can get a bit tired of it, but the mushrooms were chewy and went perfectly with the meat.

There were quite a few sauces too, so dipping in this and that was fun. I like switching sauces as I eat meat, and I never got bored, so I enjoyed it to the end.

A slushie to finish the meal

And something I secretly loved at Muhan Paldo Daepae was the slushie, haha. Having one after the meal cleansed my palate, and I thought kids would love it too if you bring them. I had two of them..

Is Muhan Paldo Daepae good with kids? Toddler tableware

Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae Branch also had a decent selection of toddler tableware, and I think this is the first time I've seen that kind of thoughtfulness at an all-you-can-eat place. No wonder there were so many families.

Another plus is that ramyeon and fried rice are unlimited too, so you can finish the meal completely full! We ate so much meat that we couldn't finish the fried rice, but next time I'll scrape the pan clean.

Would I return to Muhan Paldo Daepae Jamsilsaenae?

Some people go to all-you-can-eat places without big expectations, but I've been satisfied every time I've gone to Muhan Paldo Daepae. Above all, the meat tasted clean and the beef brisket was really good, so it's a place I keep thinking about.

If you want to eat meat until you burst in Jamsilsaenae without spending much, I think it's worth a visit. I'd already been twice with my own money and was satisfied again this time, so of course my revisit score is 5 out of 5! 😂 Totally recommended as a Jamsil restaurant!
