Last week a friend and I had already eaten ice cream, but we still wanted a proper, filling meal, so we headed to Daily Fix, a well-known eatery near Yeoksam Station in Gangnam. It's a handmade burger shop that celebrities have recommended, and it's already a hot spot with office workers and residents nearby! The chef reportedly graduated from the CIA in the US and has worked at a Michelin 3-star restaurant, and the burgers, with their handmade patties and sauces, were delicious and really filling.
Where is Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch?

Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch (데일리픽스 강남본점) sits on Nonhyeon-ro 85-gil between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station, within a 10-minute walk of each. It's a Seoul handmade burger spot praised by famous celebrities and YouTubers, and I heard it recently placed second at the Korea Championship, so my expectations were even higher.

There's a terrace in front of the shop, and pets are allowed, so it looks like a nice place to relax outside with a burger after walking your dog.
Daily Fix seating and atmosphere

Inside, Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch has a duplex feel with a first and second floor. There are counter seats that are great for eating alone, plus tables for 2–4 people, so it looks good for dates or get-togethers too.

We visited on a weekend afternoon, and as dinner time got closer the seats filled up fast.

The "good store" (착한가게) sign, which marks shops that give back, also touched me. Even people around me say times are harder now than during COVID, and it's a world where it's tough enough looking after yourself. An owner who looks around and shares with others — isn't that wonderful?

At Daily Fix you can help yourself to wet wipes and water at the self bar, and soft drinks can be refilled too! Even on a weekend with lots of delivery and takeout orders, the staff were all friendly, and I was very happy with the service.

What did we order at Daily Fix?
- Bacon cheeseburger set
- Double cheeseburger
- Spicy coleslaw
We picked the bacon cheeseburger and the double cheeseburger, both known as celebrity-recommended burgers. Daily Fix also has Stella draft beer, and from 5 to 7pm there's a 1+1 happy hour draft beer deal, so a burger-and-beer combo after work is something I'd recommend.

Bacon cheeseburger: Hanwoo patty and handmade bacon
Daily Fix's bacon cheeseburger combines a thick, grilled 100% Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty, handmade bacon made with 100 hours of care, and a wholegrain mustard sauce.
My friend cut it so prettily and neatly that I admired it and took a photo before we dug in.

A soft bun, then juicy Hanwoo, crunchy onion and chewy bacon gave a varied play of textures. The salty flavor is strong, so I figured it would go especially well with beer.

Is spicy coleslaw on top of the burger worth trying?
Daily Fix's spicy coleslaw is house-made slaw tossed in a special Cheongyang chili mayo sauce. The crunch followed by sweetness and a sharp kick was appealing.

Piling this spicy coleslaw on top of the handmade burger was the real kicker. It adds crunch, and the spicy flavor perfectly cuts anything that might feel greasy, so they go together like a dream. Think of it as a beef-patty version of a Nashville burger, and please try combining them!

Double cheeseburger: a filling 300g of patty
My friend, who has already been here n times, says the double cheeseburger is the Daily Fix number one pick. As the name says, it has two patties with cheddar, Swiss cheese, wholegrain mustard, ketchup and more.

I heard one YouTuber ranked it number one, and personally I liked the double cheese more than the bacon.

Pizza and burgers are usually too greasy for me, and salty food isn't my thing, but the onion balanced out the saltiness from the juicy 100% Hanwoo patty, wholegrain mustard and cheese, and it came out as a pleasant, tasty saltiness!

The patties alone weigh 300g in the double cheeseburger, so it was very filling, and the combination with the soft bun and crunchy onion was flawless.

Still, my number one is putting coleslaw on top, haha. If you like a fresh, tangy sourness, please eat it this way, I'm begging you..

How were the fries and the set at Daily Fix?
The side dishes you eat with the burger at Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch were something special too. The fries weren't dry or choking at all; they melted softly in the mouth with a rich, nutty flavor, and they were delicious.

The main alone is a good amount, but the sides taste good and, above all, pair so well with it that I'd recommend getting the set.

Verdict: is Daily Fix near Yeoksam Station worth a visit?
Daily Fix's burgers, made with 100% Hanwoo patties, handmade bacon and sauces, reportedly by a chef who graduated from the CIA and has worked for years in Michelin restaurants, were overflowing with juice, and the combination of ingredients was art. Sides like the coleslaw and fries were also better quality than at an ordinary burger shop, so if you're looking for a good handmade burger, I recommend giving it a try.
