Haeundae Centum hair salon: Aveda ash dye for faded color, Eco Revi
In short
Eco Revi Hair & Spa Haeundae Centum Branch is a hair-repair salon on the ground floor of the Haeundae Centum Hotel in Haeundae, Busan. At Eco Revi Hair & Spa, the blogger had an Aveda dye in a private room to cover previously dyed hair that had faded lighter with a red-free ash tone, followed by a scalp check, an aroma massage and a scalp protector. Days later the hair still feels soft rather than stiff, and the ash brown shade came out exactly as hoped.

Where is Eco Revi Hair & Spa in Haeundae Centum?
Eco Revi Hair & Spa Haeundae Centum Branch (에코레비헤어앤스파 해운대센텀점) is a hair salon on the ground floor of the Haeundae Centum Hotel. They specialize in repair clinics for severely damaged hair, repair perms, repair straightening, repair dyeing, scalp clinics and head spa, so today I'm sharing my review of the Aveda dye I got here 🤗
If you book through Naver Booking, you can get 30–50% off on your first visit. I booked with Head Manager Seonghui~!
Parking support is available in the Haeundae Centum Hotel underground car park. Eco Revi is on the ground floor of the hotel, so parking was super easy and the salon was easy to find too.
Private room and transparent pricing at Eco Revi

The best thing about Eco Revi in Haeundae is the private room. It was so, so comfortable and nice.

You get your hair done inside the room, and the place to wash your hair is right next to it. With perms and dyeing you sometimes have to rinse several times, so not having to walk far back and forth was so convenient, and waiting while the product sets was more relaxing too 👍🏻

And I loved the transparent pricing! You don't even have to go in for a consultation: a very detailed price list is posted right at the salon entrance. Isn't that great? Usually I never know how much it'll come to and I'm always on edge, but at Eco Revi you don't have to worry about that.
From scalp check to choosing an Aveda ash color

Eco Revi in Centum specializes in hair repair, so before doing anything they check the condition of your scalp. I had dyed my hair recently, so my scalp wasn't in great shape, sob. After the consultation I decided to go with Aveda color, which is 93% sustainable plant-derived ingredients, free of animal-derived ingredients and animal testing, and has been environmentally minded since the brand's founding!

My last dye job had gotten too light, so I decided to cover it with a slightly darker color. I said I wanted a color that wouldn't turn reddish in the light or as it fades, and wouldn't get much lighter, so they took that into account and recommended a color with a slight ash tone.

There were all kinds of drinks and snacks, so my mouth was never bored while I was getting my hair done, haha. I hadn't even had lunch and was hungry, and they asked me and immediately made me toast. Absolutely delicious.

This is my hair before. I liked the first color, but the roots had grown out a lot and the color got so light that it was really hard to maintain, sob.
The private room is so nice. You can take as many photos as you like and there's nobody to feel awkward around, haha.

Aroma massage, scalp protector and the Aveda dyeing process
Before the Aveda dye at Eco Revi begins, they give you a short aroma massage.

It felt so, so refreshing. One of the aromas was for dieting, and I hesitated between stress relief and dieting, then went straight for the diet one, haha.

Before applying the dye, they put on scalp protector very thoroughly. They said it's best to apply plenty, and they really sprayed it on without holding back.

Then they applied the dye carefully, strand by strand. When I dyed my hair elsewhere last time my scalp stung terribly, but maybe because this is natural-ingredient Aveda dye, my scalp felt comfortable and fine.

They also kept checking whether anything felt uncomfortable, and the designer was so kind, haha.

With the dye on, now I'm waiting for it to take~~ This is usually the hardest part, right? But in Eco Revi's private room I could relax more. I sipped some coffee and ate a sandwich while waiting, and the time flew by.

I took a selfie while waiting too, haha. A bit fairy-like and cute, right (?)
Finishing in the massage-chair shampoo room
After about 30 minutes of waiting, they wash your hair, and the chair you wash in is a massage chair. You lie back and get a massage in the chair while your hair is washed with a refreshing scalp massage. Total bliss... Could you give me one more hour, please..?

And then you get the royal princess treatment of having your hair dried from both sides at once, and after that

Ta-da!!

How do the ash color and hair feel a few days later?
The color came out pretty. They had factored in fading too, so they told me it might look a little dark at first.
What surprised me is that even after dyeing, my hair didn't feel stiff or damaged at all. Even now, a few days later, it combs through really easily and feels soft! Natural-ingredient Aveda dye really is on another level.

They even blow-dried it nicely, so I left feeling great about my hair.
A few days on, a slight ash brown tone has come through like this, and it's exactly the color I wanted 😆 Eco Revi Hair & Spa in Haeundae, a hair repair specialist, is a total must-recommend for anyone worried about hair that's usually very damaged!
