Haeundae bakery café: fig financier tea time at home, Low & Sweet
In short
Low & Sweet Bakery is a bakery café on Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, Busan, a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Haeundae Station. Short on time, the writer took an egg tart, salt bread, a fig financier and an americano home for tea time: the Low & Sweet egg tart was crisp outside and soft inside with a rich egg flavor, and the fig financier paired well with the coffee. What kind of place is Low & Sweet Bakery?
Low & Sweet Bakery is a bakery café on Haeri-dan-gil near Haeundae Station, known for great egg tarts and salt bread. The interior is pretty and the variety of breads is wide, so it's a nice spot for lunch and dessert nearby.
I went looking for a good egg tart place in Haeundae. That day I was a bit pressed for time, so unfortunately I could only get takeout. Still, I packed up an egg tart, salt bread, fig financier, and americano and enjoyed a relaxed tea time at home.

It's known as one of the trendy cafés near Haeundae Station, and the interior really was gorgeous. I'm definitely planning to sit in and enjoy dessert time next visit.
Getting there from Haeundae Station and parking

Low & Sweet Bakery is about 230m from Exit 4 of Haeundae Station, roughly a 3-minute walk. Walking toward Haeri-dan-gil, the white-toned exterior stands out. The sign is simple too, so it was easy to spot from a distance.
Parking is free at spots 41 and 42 in front of the store. They're usually full, though, so you'll likely need to use a nearby public parking lot.
Store atmosphere and bakery display

The entrance is so pretty that passersby often stop to take photos.

Even before opening the door, it had that full aesthetic-café feel. The white-and-wood interior was clean but cozy. With the floor-to-ceiling windows, sunlight pours in — it seemed like it would be great for photos if you visit during the day.

There's also an outdoor terrace with tables at the back of the store. It seems like it'd get popular once the weather cools down.

Right by the entrance, an open bakery display case had cookies, financiers, canelés, pound cakes, egg tarts, croissants, and more neatly lined up.

Just looking at it all was a treat for the eyes, making it a happy struggle to decide what to pick. There were plenty of takeout customers as well as people sitting in.

This time, without much time to spare, I went for takeout too. Next visit, I want to sit in and take my time with dessert.
Bake times

Low & Sweet Bakery has set times when fresh bread comes out, so visiting then means even tastier bread. It's posted in-store, so it's worth checking.
The takeout order

That day, my takeout from Low & Sweet Bakery was four items: egg tart, salt bread, fig financier, and americano.
Tea time at home — how did it taste?

As soon as I got home, I had tea time right away.

The egg tart was crisp on the outside, moist inside — one bite and the rich egg aroma really spread through my mouth.

It was good enough to be called one of the best egg tart spots near Haeundae Station.

The salt bread was textbook crisp-outside, chewy-inside. The subtle butter aroma along with the crunch of salt crystals was really appealing.

The fig financier had a strong butter aroma with a moist, nutty texture. The fig's sweetness came through gently, making it a great match with coffee.

Eating it fresh at the store would be great, but taking it home and enjoying it comfortably wasn't a bad choice either.
Overall thoughts
This time I only had time for takeout, but the store's atmosphere was so pretty that I'm planning to sit in and take my time with dessert next visit. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bakery in Haeundae.
Between the full aesthetic vibe of the store and the care put into the bread, it was satisfying all around. Recommended for anyone looking for a dessert café near Haeundae Station.
