Haeundae bakery café late on Saturday: sold-out desserts, Low & Sweet
In short
Low & Sweet Bakery is a roastery bakery café near Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, Busan. On a Saturday visit at 5:30pm, most desserts at Low & Sweet Bakery were already sold out, so the blogger took away the remaining canelé, lemon madeleine and macadamia white chocolate cookie, plus an iced latte and a house lemonade. Today I'm bringing you an honest review of Low & Sweet Bakery, a bakery café that's hot in Haeundae right now 🥐☕️ I visited once before and it was totally full, so I couldn't get in (T_T)‼️ Okay, let's start the review 🌀
Low & Sweet Bakery hours, parking and pets
Low & Sweet Bakery is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00, and you can park in spots 41 and 42 in front of the shop. If they're taken, use the nearby public car park (paid). Pets are welcome too 🐶

- Pets allowed 🐶
Low & Sweet exterior, parking and interior

This is the outside of Low & Sweet. It's near Haeri-dan-gil and opens at 8am, so it looks great for morning coffee and bread ☕ The clean, New York-style interior stood out to me 🗽

🅿️ You can fit about two cars in spots 41 and 42 in front of the shop, and if they're full, use the nearby paid public car park. It looked like you could park after moving this little chair out of the way, haha. Pets are allowed, so it'd be a nice stop on a walk with your dog 🐶✔️

Inside, it has a proper Seongsu/Hannam-dong café vibe. There's a good mix of 4-person and 2-person tables, so I think it works for meetups and dates too 🤭

The outdoor terrace was neat and tidy too. It's way too hot right now, but I bet it'll fill up once the weather cools down!!

It's a roastery café, so they sell their own roasted beans as well.

Even the sugar cubes and water service are New York style 🌀🗽
Saturday 5:30pm: sold-out desserts and the menu

At 5:30pm on a Saturday, almost all the desserts were sold out (T_T) If you want to try a bit of everything, come early ✔️

Drinks are split into coffee, drip coffee and non-coffee. I thought the free kids menu was so cute. You can feel the care for little ones 🤭
What we ordered, prices and the takeout packaging
At Low & Sweet Bakery this day we ordered an iced latte, a homemade lemonade, and the three baked treats that were left. We had to get to Grandma's quickly, so everything was takeout.
- Iced latte ₩6,300
- Homemade lemonade ₩6,800
- Macadamia white chocolate cookie ₩4,800
- Lemon madeleine ₩3,200
- Canelé ₩3,600

We went with takeout today so we could get to Grandma's fast (?) haha. Mom, why are you so cute 🤭 The straws, cups and even the dessert bags were adorable, haha.
▪ Latte (iced): The milk and espresso were smoothly balanced, a rich, nutty-tasting latte that's perfect alongside desserts 🥛
▪ Homemade lemonade: Sweet, tangy and fresh, a summer taste that's perfect after a hot day out in Haeundae 🤤😎☀️ It wasn't too sweet and was so refreshing, a real reset 🍋 (It tasted like something a grandma abroad would make for you, really)

The desserts, opened once we got to Grandma's, haha. They all look neat and tasty, right? 😎
How do the canelé, lemon madeleine and macadamia cookie taste?
Of the three baked treats from Low & Sweet Bakery, the macadamia white chocolate cookie was the best. The canelé and lemon madeleine also went well with coffee.

▪ Canelé: Caramelized, chewy and crisp outside, soft custard inside... delicious, obviously 😋😋

▪ Lemon madeleine: Slightly crisp outside, moist inside, with a subtle lemon aroma that went really well with coffee.

▪ Macadamia white chocolate cookie: Crisp outside, soft inside, American cookie style, and my favorite of the desserts‼️ I don't even really like cookies, but it was insanely good... the sweetness of the white chocolate and the macadamia worked together nicely 🍪
Overall verdict
It's popular and desserts sell out fast, so if you want to try a variety, I recommend going in the morning or early afternoon! If you're looking for a stylish roastery bakery in Haeundae, adding it to a Haeri-dan-gil outing is a total must 🔥
