Garlic gopchang and mixed gopchang date near Omokgyo Station
Omokgyo Gopchang Mokdong Main Branch is a gopchang (grilled beef tripe) restaurant in the alley by Exit 1 of Omokgyo Station in Yangcheon, Seoul. The writer ordered the traditional handmade garlic gopchang and mixed gopchang, both grilled tableside by staff, plus the signature Omokgyo fried rice. No gaminess, plenty of gop (the fatty tripe lining), and the green onion kimchi made with the owner's parents' homegrown chili flakes stole the show.
