What's the atmosphere inside Andover like?

The interior is so pretty and the vibe is just so good... 🤍 It was a weekend, and by evening the tables were packed with people stopping by for a glass of wine. Everyone seemed to be a regular, greeting the owner warmly.

Andover also sells ingredients and its house-made sauces in the shop.
Andover menu and what we ordered

Here's the Andover menu with prices. Maybe because it's a wine bar and brunch restaurant, there are really lots of pasta and salad options. We ordered the signature Cod Gratin & Roasted Vegetables, the Andover Anchovy Pasta, and the brand-new After Wine Pasta!

The water and small plates were set out so nicely.

At the self-service bar, you can grab extra small plates, utensils and hot sauce if you need them.

Our food finally arrived >< The lighting was pretty and the mood so good that it made me want to take photos like crazy 🕺🕺
New After Wine Pasta (₩28,000): a shrimp-packed hangover pasta

Andover's new After Wine Pasta is ₩28,000, a spicy pasta with a deep shrimp aroma, meant as a hangover-style dish. Many guests eat with wine, so the owner prepared it as a secret-weapon menu item! Honestly, I thought this one was really, truly, super delicious.

The shrimp flavor is rich with a gentle tomato note rising up, and the thick, savory broth is just perfect for soothing a hangover. There's a ton of shrimp, including two big black tiger shrimp(?), and the meat was so plump it felt like eating lobster. Please try this one... I really recommend it. I drove so I couldn't have wine, but next time I definitely want to eat it with wine. I get now why it's called After Wine.

Andover Anchovy Pasta (₩21,000)
The Andover Anchovy Pasta is ₩21,000, with a savory depth thanks to the anchovies and olives. Pine nuts scattered throughout gave it a nutty flavor. Both this and the After Wine Pasta are tomato-based, yet they taste totally different and both are delicious! I personally love the funky aroma of anchovies, so I enjoyed both pastas a lot.

Signature Cod Gratin & Roasted Vegetables (₩24,000), piled on bread
Last is Andover's signature Cod Gratin & Roasted Vegetables, ₩24,000. It's a gratin made with boneless cod, potato and milk. Probably because of the potato, the texture is soft and fluffy, and it's really good on bread. I recommend piling it on generously!

I topped toasted bread with roasted vegetables and cod gratin, and mmm, yummy. It was much better on the bread than eaten on its own.

Wine and champagne at Andover
Andover sells lots of champagne as well as wine. There were only top-notch champagnes like Moët & Chandon, Piper-Heidsieck and Veuve Clicquot.

The mood is also nice for a wedding invitation gathering. If you're looking for a great pasta place or a restaurant with a nice atmosphere in Pangyo, do visit Andover!
