Baegot Korean BBQ for work dinners: pre-grilled ogyeopsal at Hamdon
Hamdon Baegot is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Baegot, Siheung, Gyeonggi, that ages its pork and sears it before bringing it to the table. Two servings of ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly) and one of pork neck came with minari, green onion kimchi, wasabi and meljeot (salted anchovy sauce), plus bone broth kept hot on an induction burner, and the pre-grilling meant less time at the grill and more time for a drink. The rice was a little soft, but wide-set tables and a large underground parking lot make Hamdon Baegot a solid choice for a friends' gathering or a work dinner.
