Late-night kalguksu restaurant near Seohyeon Station: Gangnam Gyoja
Gangnam Gyoja Bundang Seohyeon Branch is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and sujebi (hand-torn dough soup) restaurant on the second floor of a building five minutes' walk from Exit 5 of Seohyeon Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. Arriving around 8pm with her husband, the writer ordered kalguksu, perilla sujebi and review-event tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), stirring the seasoning sauce into the kalguksu broth for extra savoury depth. Rice comes with free refills for soaking up the broth, making Gangnam Gyoja a Seohyeon Station dinner spot she would return to once the weather cools.
