What is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch like, and what are the seats like?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a buffet packed with sushi and lots of other dishes, a 10-minute walk from Hagye Station. There are window seats, group seating and private rooms. I ate at a window seat, and on a clear day you can even see Namsan Tower, so the view is really great~

The restaurant is very spacious, and one side has a private space for group gatherings, so families sometimes hold 60th, 70th and 80th birthday celebrations here. There's also a play room, so it's great for eating out with kids :p Parking is covered for up to 2 hours, so you can take your time with the meal.

How many dishes does the Kuu Kuu buffet have?

The Kuu Kuu menu runs past 100 items, so you can try a huge variety of food. It's best known as a sushi buffet, but it starts with Japanese and goes on to Chinese, Western, Korean and desserts, so you can leave completely full. I'm a Kuu Kuu regular, so below I'll share my tips for eating at Kuu Kuu without waiting in line :p

Weekend and holiday prices at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch are ₩35,900 for adults, ₩18,900 for elementary students and ₩9,900 for preschoolers 36 months and older.

When to go to Kuu Kuu to skip the line

As a regular, my advice is to avoid the busiest hours. Going at 11 or 11:30 for lunch, or between 4:30 and 5pm for dinner, keeps things relaxed.

Tips for eating without a line: 1. Lunch: arrive at 11:00 or 11:30. 2. Dinner: arrive between 4:30 and 5:00. 3. If you do have to queue: head to the quieter stations first, and grab food from the busy ones once the line thins out.

On weekends especially, Kuu Kuu can be so-o crowded that it feels overwhelming. In that case, avoid the peak hours and you can eat in peace. I tend to eat dinner early, so I come around 5pm, and it's relaxed then :p

For family group meals, everyone has to coordinate their schedules, so sometimes you have to come at the hottest time. When that happens, go to the quiet stations first, bring food back and start eating. Everyone else has to sit and eat once they've picked up food too, so the lines are bound to shrink a bit~

Now that the weather is getting hot, even the ice cream tastes better! The joy of coming to Kuu Kuu is eating all kinds of food however I like ♥

What events does Kuu Kuu run in June and July?

Is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch good for a family gathering in Nowon?

If you're planning a family gathering, I recommend Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch ♡ I recently held a 60th birthday celebration somewhere else, and it cost twice as much as Kuu Kuu~ But the menu seemed similar, and I honestly couldn't tell much difference in taste...? I ended up thinking I should have just done it at Kuu Kuu T_T

Kuu Kuu turns out to be a place with both good value for the price and really good food quality :p
