Three hours between plans in Jamsil: where to go?
I went out to Jamsil on a weekend and ended up with about 3 hours to kill before my next plan, haha.

It was hot and I didn't want to wander the streets. I wanted to chill somewhere cool and spend the time well, so I searched like crazy and found a hot spot that's famous as a Jamsil manga café worth visiting, where you can enjoy OTT like Netflix and Disney+, Nintendo games and comics all in one place: One Play Jamsil Branch! Haha.

The moment I walked into One Play Jamsil Branch, the space was so well done, better than I expected, that I felt like I'd found a hidden treasure, haha.

The 3-hour pass at One Play Jamsil Branch: fine to go alone?
At One Play Jamsil Branch I paid for the 3-hour pass package that includes a drink, and I picked an Americano! It was a great space for resting quietly on my own.
When I sat down, the space felt cozy, not noisy at all, and comfortable. I thought it was the perfect place to come alone and enjoy some quiet solo time, haha.

The restroom inside One Play Jamsil Branch was also kept really clean, so I could stay the whole time without any icky feeling. So convenient!
One Play Jamsil Branch menu and how app ordering works
At One Play Jamsil Branch you order food by app from your seat, with no need to go to the counter. I'm leaving the menu photos here too.

The smart system was the best part: no walking to a counter, you just order food from the app at your seat, so easy! The menu is as varied as any restaurant or café, and since I was hungry, choosing took me quite a while, haha!

And when the food is ready, a pickup alert arrives on KakaoTalk, so you just go get it without breaking your flow. Seriously convenient, haha.

Chicken tteokbokki and jjagyechi while watching Avatar
What I ordered at One Play Jamsil Branch was the signature chicken tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and jjagyechi (jjajang instant noodles with cheese and egg). I hadn't eaten a single meal that day, so I went all in on One Play's signature chicken tteokbokki and jjagyechi, the manga café golden rule!

With the cool air conditioning on me, I put on the movie Avatar: The Way of Water on Disney+ and started my big eating show, haha.
Crispy chicken on sweet and spicy tteokbokki? Need I say more, total pass. Then a bite of the savory jjagyechi stirred with cheese and egg, washed down with a cold Americano, and all the tangled thoughts in my head vanished. I felt properly healed, T_T
And Avatar was so gorgeous visually and so, so fun! I was totally absorbed and the time flew by, but my next plan was due, so I had to leave in the middle of the movie, tears in my eyes. Boo-hoo T_T
I never expected 3 hours to vanish like that, haha. At home the cut-off movie kept running through my head, and I firmly resolved to come back another day and binge Avatar 1 through 3 all day long, haha.
One Play Jamsil Branch's ₩10,000 weekday unlimited event
I hear One Play Jamsil Branch runs an event on weekdays where you can use it unlimited for ₩10,000. To get through the whole Avatar series I think I need to go once more with the weekday unlimited pass, so I can lounge around all day with no time limit!! Then I could finish the whole Avatar series, right!? Haha.

I went on a weekend this time, but I heard that if you visit on a weekday, the unlimited pass is much cheaper and great value! An event with unlimited use for just ₩10,000 was running on weekdays!!

Soon, on a weekday holiday or a day off, I'm definitely doing a weekday run, haha.

Who is One Play Jamsil Branch for?
If you want a cool indoor date course near Jamsil to escape the heat, or, like me, a top Jamsil manga café where you can quietly eat good food alone and crush movies, comics and games, I'd totally recommend One Play Jamsil Branch!

One Play Jamsil Branch is a bewitching ant-lion pit: once you go, you can't help becoming a regular!
