Baedagol Bakery House is a large bakery café with a garden on Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil in Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi. On a weekday afternoon drive with her husband, the writer ordered a fresh melon yogurt smoothie, coffee, garlic baguette and blueberry tart, then sat by the first-floor garden window. The garlic baguette at Baedagol Bakery House was the best bread she has ever eaten, and melon season is the time to go.
