Cleansing balm for oily-dry skin: HEEDA Charcoal Cleansing Balm

How did it feel after cleansing on oily-dry combination skin?

I used it in summer when sebum, blackheads, and whiteheads were bothering me. My skin did not feel tight or excessively dry after cleansing, and I liked the fresh yet hydrated finish.

What is the texture and how do you use it?

The product was a black balm, like charcoal. Before use, it felt soft and a little lumpy, like melted clay, but it melted nicely when I spread it over my face and rubbed with my fingertips.

I scooped some out with the spatula, applied it to my face, and massaged it thoroughly. It did not run, so it was convenient to use while cleansing; I massaged more carefully around my nose, where sebum and blackheads concerned me most.

Was there any irritation or discomfort while using it?

It did not sting or feel irritating while I used it, so it was comfortable. As the smooth balm melted over my skin, it felt as though it was melting away even the impurities inside my pores, and my skin felt smooth every time I used it.

What was the most satisfying part?

I have also used expensive cleansing balms and foam cleansers, but what I liked most about this product was that it left my skin feeling less tight after cleansing. It is a product I tried when I wanted to manage sebum and blackheads while avoiding a dry, stripped feeling after washing my face.
