Eonju Station wedding hall, one couple per slot, no wreaths: Arbe

In short

Arbe Wedding Hall is a house-wedding-style venue on Bongeunsa-ro in Gangnam, Seoul, between Eonju Station and Seonjeongneung Station. On a venue tour while planning her wedding, the writer saw Arbe's wreath-free entrance with signage only, the 1st-floor terrace photo zone and self bar, the fresh-flower bridal room and main hall, and a buffet of about 400 dishes. Couples who want a private ceremony with one couple per time slot and a strong guest meal should put Arbe Wedding Hall on their tour list.

When you're planning a wedding, choosing among countless wedding halls is a real headache. I looked at a lot of options too, and decided to visit only the ones that seemed truly good, so I narrowed it down to a few and went on tours. The place I'm introducing today is Arbe, a pretty Seoul wedding hall that's been getting a lot of word of mouth among engaged couples lately. It's newly renovated and feels more refined, and you get a house-wedding feel and a luxurious mood at the same time. Very impressive!

Where is Arbe Wedding Hall, and is it easy to reach?

Arbe Wedding Hall is at 302 Bongeunsa-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00, and closed on Mondays. It sits in a double station area near Eonju Station and Seonjeongneung Station, so it's convenient by public transport and easy for guests to find.

Is there guest parking at Arbe Wedding Hall?

Parking information at Arbe Wedding Hall

Arbe has a separate parking space near the hall with plenty of room, and guest parking support is available. Parking is a big worry when you look at Gangnam wedding halls, but Arbe is easy to reach by car too, and I liked that visiting felt low-stress.

Modern-design building of Arbe Wedding Hall

Does Arbe's entrance really use signage instead of wreaths?

I heard that where wreaths would normally be displayed at the entrance, Arbe doesn't put out whole wreaths and just posts the messages. It looks tidy and uncluttered, which I liked! The first thing I noticed on arrival was the building exterior. It's modern and stylish overall, so I was already excited before going in.

The entrance (1st floor)

Arbe's 1st-floor terrace photo zone and self bar

On the 1st floor of Arbe there's a terrace-style space for commemorative photos and a self bar for guests before the ceremony. Even though it's in the middle of the city, it feels like a private house-wedding venue~~ As a newly opened hall, the facilities are clean and the upkeep is very good.

Inside the 1st floor of Arbe Wedding Hall

The 1st floor has this terrace-style space, and you can take commemorative photos here too.

There was also a separate self bar area guests can use before the ceremony. That's something unique to Arbe that I haven't seen at other wedding halls! There was also a guestbook so guests can leave photos and messages.

Basement 1 staircase photo spot for the bride and groom

Arbe's wedding hall, buffet, bridal room and more are on basement level 1. They take the bride and groom's photos on the stairs going down. The flowers are so pretty, haha. A mix of fresh and artificial flowers made it even prettier, and the scent of the flowers puts you in a good mood too!

How big is the bridal room at Arbe?

The bridal room at Arbe Wedding Hall is very spacious and lavishly decorated with fresh flowers. The moment you step in, the scent of flowers fills the air and the mood feels bright. White and pink tones go together, so it's a space that photographs beautifully. The roomy space is great for photos with family and friends, and there's even a bride-only restroom, so the flow was convenient. There was also a separate hair area and a changing room.

Arbe's main hall and its one-couple-per-slot ceremonies

Arbe's main hall is decorated with fresh flowers in a greenery style, and only one couple holds a ceremony per time slot. This is Arbe's biggest charm!! The main hall~ Fresh flower decor and nature-like greenery come together to feel as if you're getting married in a garden. Once the lighting is added, the whole space gets even brighter and the photos come out really beautiful. It was a space where you can truly feel the house-wedding vibe that couples prefer these days.

Another big plus is that with one couple per time slot, the ceremony can be more relaxed and private. It's not a hall where several teams overlap in a hectic way; you can focus on your own special wedding.

Why is the Arbe buffet nicknamed "Bapreube" (밥르베)?

The buffet entrance!

Entrance to the Arbe Wedding Hall buffet banquet room

The Arbe buffet is said to be so tasty that engaged couples nickname it "Babreube" (a pun on bap, meaning rice or a meal, plus Arbe). Besides the couple themselves, guest satisfaction is what you care about most when choosing a hall, and the meal is something you can never leave out~ Walking into the banquet hall, it was kept so clean and upscale that it reminded me of a hotel buffet.

What's on the Arbe Wedding Hall buffet?

The Arbe buffet has more than 400 different dishes, a lineup that satisfies everyone from kids to grandparents.

Besides fresh seafood and conveyor-belt sushi, there were meat dishes plus Korean, Chinese and Western food. Many items were grilled to order, so I got the sense that the food quality is quite good.

The dessert corner also had a variety including fruit, bakery items and gelato, and the drinks corner even had beer, so guest satisfaction is bound to be high.

Which couples is Arbe Wedding Hall right for?

After seeing it in person, I understood why so many newlyweds choose Arbe.

  • Bright interior that ranks among Seoul's prettiest wedding halls
  • Clean, stylish facilities from the new opening
  • Private ceremony with one couple per time slot
  • Good access near Eonju Station and Seonjeongneung Station
  • Ample parking space

If you're looking for a pretty wedding hall in Seoul, I think Arbe is definitely worth a tour! I especially recommend it to people dreaming of a luxurious house wedding in the city, people who want a private ceremony with just one couple per time slot, and people who care about the guests' meal too.
