Where is Wunder Coffee Bar's Garden5 branch?
Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Outlet Garden5 branch (분더커피바) is a roastery café on the B1 floor of Hyundai City Mall Garden5, directly connected to Jangji Station on Line 8. When you're out shopping or enjoying some culture at Garden5 or Hyundai City Mall, there are moments you just want a sweet, rich cup of coffee to soothe the tiredness, right? Today I visited Wunder Coffee Bar, which brings a little something special to your day with high-quality coffee they roast themselves and a special kind of ice cream!

It's inside Hyundai City Mall Garden5, right by Jangji Station, so it's super easy to get to, a great café near Jangji Station and a go-to coffee spot in Hyundai City Mall.
What kind of café is Wunder Coffee Bar?
Wunder Coffee Bar is a proper roastery café that only uses beans it roasts itself, and I hear it runs on the slogan "adding a little wonder to everyday life."

Unlike the usual big franchise cafés, Wunder Coffee Bar uses only its own roasted beans, so the deep, rich flavor of the coffee really comes through.

It's a space for coffee and desserts you can enjoy in comfort and still remember long after, so it's already well talked about among shoppers and office workers nearby, a Garden5 café with great word of mouth.
What is a Wundergato?
Wundergato is Wunder Coffee Bar's signature ice cream coffee, an affogato-style drink where strongly brewed espresso is poured over chewy, sweet ice cream. And a Wundergato is exactly what we ordered that day!

Which ice cream can you choose for a Wundergato?
For the Wundergato ice cream you can pick hojicha (roasted green tea), vanilla, or a mix (hojicha + vanilla) to suit your taste, which makes choosing half the fun.

We ordered one signature hojicha Wundergato and one classic vanilla Wundergato and shared them, so we got to try both.

What does the hojicha Wundergato taste like?
The hojicha Wundergato is Wunder Coffee Bar's signature, made with hojicha ice cream, where green tea is roasted once more to bring out a nutty depth and a subtle aroma!

The hojicha ice cream is bittersweet yet rich and smooth, with no astringency, and together with the freshly pulled bitter espresso it gave a classy, savory depth.

What does the vanilla Wundergato taste like?
In the vanilla Wundergato, the sweetness of rich, smooth vanilla bean meets the heavy body of the espresso, a textbook example of a classic affogato.

It isn't overly sweet and wraps around you softly, so I think anyone would love it, no divided opinions here.
How were the hojicha and vanilla Wundergato side by side?

Whether hojicha or vanilla, the thick, creamy texture created as the espresso and ice cream melt together was really appealing. It was a perfect dessert break that truly healed a body and mind worn out from shopping.
Is Wunder Coffee Bar's Garden5 branch worth recommending?

What stood out at Wunder Coffee Bar was the combination of the deep, rich roastery espresso with flavorful, handmade-style ice cream! If you want special, tasty specialty coffee and an affogato dessert near Jangji Station or Hyundai City Mall Garden5, I strongly recommend stopping by this lovely Garden5 café.
