Samseong Station burger restaurant sides: truffle mayo dip at Bas

I stopped by Bas Burger, a burger restaurant that's popular near Samseong Station~ Bas Burger has a lot of other branches so I go pretty often, but this time I had an errand near Samseong Station and dropped in haha. They also had the recently-trendy mozza cheese bar on the side menu, so I tried that too~

Where is Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch? Five minutes from Exit 2

I went to Bas Burger, a burger restaurant that's a Samseong Station favorite~ It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Samseong Station, so it's pretty close, and since there are a lot of offices nearby, apparently a ton of office workers come here!

Inside Bas Burger: solo bar seats and an outdoor terrace

This is what the inside of Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch looks like~ The restaurant is really spacious and there are seriously so many tables! During lunch a lot of Samseong Station office workers come, and I also saw people coming for dinner after work~

There was a bar table that's good for eating solo, and there were also outdoor terrace table seats, so on a nice day it'd be great to sit outside and eat!

Free unlimited James Gam potato chips at Bas Burger

The really great thing about Bas Burger is that you can eat these James Gam potato chips unlimited!!! While waiting for my burger order, I grabbed a plate for myself too~ Sprinkling a bit of the pepper that comes with it makes it even tastier haha.

Wasabi mayo shrimp burger, packed with whole shrimp

I ordered my favorite thing at Bas Burger, the wasabi mayo shrimp burger! Instead of a shrimp patty, it's made with several whole shrimp, so you get a much better sense of that shrimp texture :)

It's got whole shrimp, wasabi mayo sauce, fresh vegetables, teriyaki sauce, whole grain mayo sauce, and an onion ring — the ingredients really felt fresh.

The subtle, sharp wasabi flavor combined with the plump whole shrimp was seriously so good~ And with the crunch of the fried onion ring in between bites, this burger is a genius of texture, T_T!! If you come to Bas Burger, you have to try this burger!!! 👍

Crunch chicken, 2 pieces, with the truffle mayo dip

This is the crunch chicken I ordered as a side~ You could choose between chili and original, and I went with regular chicken plus added truffle mayo sauce.

You can choose between 2 pieces or 4 pieces, and if you're coming for dinner, ordering it as a platter is nice too~~ The chicken had that crispy-outside-juicy-inside thing going properly, and the outer coating especially was seriously crunchy and delicious!!!

It's made from chicken thigh meat so the texture was moist and tender, totally my type ..❤️ It was good just eating it plain, but dipping it lightly in the truffle-scented mayo sauce made it even better!!

How good is the chili mozza cheese bar?

The chili mozza cheese bar has recently been blowing up as a hot menu item at various burger restaurants, and I heard Bas Burger has it as a side menu too, so I ordered it~

It was coated in a sauce that was just the right amount of spicy — mildly hot but delicious — and since it's fried mozzarella cheese, the cheese really stretched a ton haha. It was such a nice treat, so definitely try it alongside your burger!

Bas Lager craft beer: saving it for next time

I had somewhere to be afterward so I drank cola instead, but Bas Burger's own craft beer, Bas Lager, is sold for just ₩3,900, so it's both a good price and just the right amount to have alongside a burger — next time I'm definitely planning to do the ham-and-beer combo haha.

If you're looking for a good burger restaurant near Samseong Station, or a place that's comfortable for eating solo, give Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch a visit :) The vibe is nice too, so it looks like it'd work well as a date spot!
