Makeup cleansing balm for a non-tight finish: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal Moist Cleansing Balm is a Korean makeup cleansing balm I used on makeup days. It removed the eyeshadow I tested, including shimmer, and left my skin feeling clean with less dryness or tightness afterward.

How did I use it for makeup cleansing?

On days when I wore makeup, I applied HEEDA cleansing balm to my skin and rolled it over my face as if massaging it in. I went through my cleansing routine with the cleansing balm alone, without using a separate cleansing oil.

Did it remove eyeshadow too?

I applied an eyeshadow that I felt had good color payoff and staying power several times on the back of my hand to check its cleansing ability. After rolling on the balm formula and rinsing it off, I saw that the color makeup, including shimmer, had been removed.

How did it feel after washing?

I was satisfied because my skin felt less excessively dry or tight after use. The balm texture felt smooth to use while rubbing it in, and my skin felt clean after washing.

The product instructions say that an amount about the size of a bean is enough to use, and I tested it after already using it several times. I am also using the HEEDA cleansing foam that I bought with it, but this post focuses on my experience with the cleansing balm.
