Cleansing balm for sensitive skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

How did it feel on sensitive skin?

I used it when my skin had recently been feeling sensitive. It melted softly like an oil when warmed in my palms, and the scent did not feel strong. My skin felt comfortable and moisturized after washing, so I reached for it often.

Did it remove light makeup in one go?

My usual light base, lip, and brow makeup came off with this product alone. The makeup felt as though it melted gently while I massaged it in, and I felt almost no irritation around my eyes.

Was there tightness or residue after emulsifying?

After emulsifying it with water, it rinsed away well, and I felt little tightness after washing. Even the brief time before applying toner was not uncomfortable, and it did not leave much of a stuffy oily film.

How did I use it for different skin types?

Perhaps because of the charcoal ingredient, I felt that the pore areas were left feeling refreshed, and I noticed fewer blackheads surfacing excessively. On days when my skin was doing well, I used this alone; for oily skin, I think it would be better to add a second cleanse. I felt it could also be used daily on dry or dehydrated combination skin.

What about the price and would I repurchase it?

The price was in the ₩20,000 range for me, and since I tend to use one tub for over five months, I was satisfied with the value. I also used it throughout a roughly three-month trip in Europe, and I would repurchase it enough to buy it or give it as a gift several times.
