Foaming cleanser glitter removal test: HEEDA charcoal foam

Did it remove glitter eyeshadow too?

To check its cleansing power, I mixed brown matte eyeshadow and gold glitter eyeshadow on the back of my hand and tested it. I dispensed the foaming cleanser, added water, worked it into a lather, and rubbed gently; I could see the eyeshadow dissolving into the foam.

Even the glitter, which can be difficult to remove, was mostly gone after a few rubs, and I noticed little residue after rinsing with water. However, this was my personal experience from a test on the back of my hand.

How did the foam and post-cleanse feel?

With just a little water and rubbing it between my hands, it made rich, dense foam. It felt as though the foam wrapped around my skin, so I did not feel I needed to use much pressure while cleansing.

I felt little tightness after cleansing, and it seemed to leave moisture on the surface of my skin. On the other hand, I did not notice a slippery residue.

How did I use it with a cleansing balm?

On days when I wore heavier makeup, I first melted away my makeup with the HEEDA cleansing balm, then finished with the Moist Hydrating Cleansing Foam as a second cleanse. With this combination, the area around my nose and areas where sebum tends to appear seemed more refreshed, and my skin texture felt softer after cleansing.

What did I think after using it?

Both the cleansing power I saw in the hand eyeshadow test and the feel after cleansing stood out to me. If you are looking for a cleansing product to use during seasons when skin can become dry and sensitive, it may be best to first check whether it suits your own skin condition.
