A home café moment when I’m craving a café matcha latte
Whenever I see matcha drinks at a café, I somehow always pause to consider one. But buying them every day can get expensive, and I do think a little about drinking sweet beverages too often. So lately, I’ve been keeping Garuseonsaeng Drinkable Zero Sugar Matcha on hand to make easily at home. It tastes more like the matcha lattes I used to get at cafés than I expected, so I’ve been reaching for it quite often as a home café menu item lately.

0 g sugar and clean sweetness
The biggest reason I chose Garuseonsaeng Drinkable Zero Sugar Matcha was that it has 0 g sugar. It gets its sweetness from erythritol and stevia instead of sugar, so it was nice to enjoy with relatively little worry when I was craving a sweet matcha latte.

I especially tend to dislike stevia’s characteristic bitter aftertaste, but this had ZERO stevia bitterness and a clean sweetness. Each stick is 12 g and 16 kcal, so it was also fine to enjoy lightly when I wanted a snack or drink. Above all, I liked that it does not contain added flavoring or coloring.

What the matcha latte tastes like with milk
Matcha can get tiresome quickly when it is only sweet, but I liked that this one also had matcha’s subtle bitterness. Once I added milk, the rich matcha flavor softened into just the right matcha latte feeling.
An easy way to make it with one stick
It is really easy to make, too. Just tear open one stick, add it to a cup, pour in milk, and mix well—that’s it.

Individual sticks for work and travel, too
Being able to switch up the kind of milk depending on my preference was another fun thing about Garuseonsaeng Drinkable Zero Sugar Matcha. It comes in individually wrapped 12 g sticks, so there is no need to measure a portion separately, and it was convenient to bring a few along to work or when traveling.

When I’m craving a sweet drink in the afternoon
I mostly drink it when I start craving a sweet beverage in the afternoon. When I have already had coffee but still want something tasty, taking out one Garuseonsaeng Drinkable Zero Sugar Matcha stick and mixing it with milk is such an easy little mood lift.

And above all, being able to choose a 0 g sugar product instead of a regular latte with sugar made this just right for times like these, when I find myself reaching for sweet drinks often.

Afternoon tea time with one stick
More than anything, I liked that I could make it so conveniently with one stick while getting a café-like flavor. It keeps matcha’s distinctive bitterness while making the sweetness feel clean, so I have been reaching for it often at afternoon tea time lately. If you want to make a simple matcha latte at home, I recommend Garuseonsaeng Drinkable Zero Sugar Matcha :)
