Titan Hapjeong is an izakaya between Hapjeong and Sangsu in Mapo, Seoul, specializing in aged sashimi and charcoal barbecue. I visited around 1 a.m. for Yeon Cham Gimbap and late-night barbecue; the gimbap was filling with tender fish, while the barbecue was sweet-savory with a gentle charcoal aroma, though it became a little heavy after a while.
Nani Yeouido Branch is an izakaya in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, directly by Yeouido Station Exit 3, with private rooms and window seats. I had assorted tempura and lamb shoulder rack by the window; the thin, crisp batter and moist lamb stood out in a calm setting for dinner and drinks.
Quokka Bite is a handmade burger restaurant near Sogang University in Daehung-dong, Mapo, Seoul. I had the double cheeseburger set and the Nashville Quokka Hot Chicken Burger; the double patty was juicy and cheesy, while the chicken burger was milder than I expected.
