How to find Avocado Yeosu from Seo Market

Avocado Yeosu is an avocado-specialty café located right near Seo Market on Tongjeyeong 4-gil in Jungang-dong, Yeosu. The exterior is decorated with avocado illustrations and avocado colors, so you can spot it easily even from a distance. My cool oasis after wandering around Seo Market on a hot, humid day.

Fresh avocado only, never frozen

We all know avocado is good for you, but if it's frozen avocado, there's no real reason to come all the way to Yeosu for it. Don't worry — Avocado Yeosu uses only real fresh-fruit avocado, never frozen.

Right when you walk in, there were tons of used fresh-avocado boxes. Already convinced haha.

Avocado keyrings, squishies and oil in the shop

Avocado Yeosu's shop was full of avocado goods — giant plush dolls, squishy toys, keyrings, you name it. Genuinely all so cute. You can tell just how much the owner loves avocados,,,, I felt the love ❤️

It was so hot we ordered an Americano, an avocado smoothie, and avocado ice cream.

What the avocado smoothie tastes like

A smoothie with a rich, deep hit of avocado's nutty, smooth flavor! I expected it to feel heavy, but it was surprisingly light and clean going down, easy to drink without feeling weighed down. The subtle nuttiness unique to avocado, combined with sweetness, gives it a soft, creamy texture that's really appealing~!

With every sip, the avocado flavor builds up quietly, so if you're looking for a different kind of smoothie, I'd recommend this one. First time seeing an avocado smoothie, and I was satisfied haha.

What the avocado ice cream tastes like

!! Highly recommend the avocado ice cream!! The first taste is sweet and soft, and as you go on, avocado's nutty flavor comes through gently. The cool, smooth texture typical of ice cream, combined with the creaminess of the avocado underneath, made for a combination that worked better than I expected.

Never imagined avocado ice cream...! Rather than being artificially sweet, it carries avocado's clean, mellow flavor for a crisp finish! And the coconut cookie topping on top paired with it so well.

Why is it that whenever a restaurant has "benefits of ~~" written up somewhere, it's just so cute? Lol.

Is there a restroom and seating inside?

Avocado Yeosu has a restroom inside the shop. Even the door is avocado-colored haha.

There are simple tables and chairs inside for a quick bite. After the effort of queuing up to buy takeout at other Seo Market shops, sitting down at Avocado Yeosu for a cool drink,,,~ gives you the energy to keep exploring Yeosu. A Yeosu café recommendation!!
