In short
Sisup (시숲) is a large brunch café in Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, with a forest-like wood-tone and plant-filled interior. On a date at Sisup, the writer ordered the bulgogi panini, the focaccia jambon (ham sandwich) and an almond cream latte, and was happy with the ample parking, the open space and the well-balanced brunch. What are the parking and space like at Sisup in Pyeongtaek?
Sisup (시숲), a café in Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek, is a big, roomy place right from the entrance, and it has plenty of parking. I found a pretty café!!!! With so much parking space, coming here for a Pyeongtaek date felt easy, and from the moment we walked in it felt open rather than stuffy.

A forest-like interior of wood tones and plants
Inside Sisup, the wood tones and plants blend together naturally, so it felt like stepping into a forest, just like the name (sisup means "city forest"). True to a big Pyeongtaek café, we could stay a long time without feeling cooped up at all.

What did we order at Sisup?
After settling in at Sisup, the first things we ordered were the bulgogi panini, the focaccia jambon (focaccia sandwich with French-style ham) and an almond cream latte. The brunch lineup at this Pyeongtaek café is quite varied, and I could see why people come for brunch here. Being able to get a meal and coffee in one stop made it a really good date course too.

How does the bulgogi panini taste?
Sisup's bulgogi panini has moist bulgogi (marinated beef) that is not just sweet but pleasantly salty. One bite and I could tell right away why it's a popular item. It goes really well with the bread, crisp on the outside and soft inside, so the texture contrast is clear. No wonder it shows up on Pyeongtaek café recommendation lists.
How does the focaccia jambon taste?
Sisup's focaccia jambon pairs chewy, mild focaccia with jambon that isn't too salty, and the balance works. It has a different charm from the bulgogi panini. The focaccia's chewy, plain texture really came through, and the jambon inside was soft and not overly salty. Because it isn't overdone, I kept reaching for another bite. As a brunch item it's filling without being heavy, a good pick for anyone coming to a Pyeongtaek brunch café.

How was the almond cream latte?
Sisup's almond cream latte was the most memorable drink of this visit. The cream isn't too heavy, and a nutty almond aroma spreads gently and goes well with the coffee. It isn't overly sweet either, so it works almost like a dessert, and it was a satisfying drink to finish the meal. You can really feel that this Pyeongtaek café puts care into its drinks too.

Is Sisup a good date spot in Pyeongtaek?
Space and menu are both well balanced, so I thought Sisup is a very polished place even among large Pyeongtaek cafés. As a winter date spot in particular, the warm, comfortable atmosphere inside made it great for staying a long while. It does get crowded, but the space is large, so it felt less hectic, and it's good for conversation. I can easily recommend it as a Pyeongtaek date spot.

Overall verdict on Sisup
What I took away from this visit is that Sisup is not just a place for coffee but a space to enjoy brunch and atmosphere together. The bulgogi panini, focaccia jambon and almond cream latte all left me satisfied, and it feels like a place I'll naturally think of next time I'm asked for a Pyeongtaek café recommendation. If you want a relaxed brunch in Pyeongtaek, or you're looking for a winter date spot, I think Sisup is a satisfying choice. True to a big Pyeongtaek café, the space is wide and the food is reliable, so I'd absolutely go back!! Recommended~~!!
