What kind of café is Orange Bagel in Suwon?
Orange Bagel (오렌지베이글) is a bagel brunch café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, with lots of bagel varieties and coffee to go with them, so you can have a full meal there. Whenever I want a relaxed brunch in Suwon, I tend to hunt for somewhere new, and this time I finally visited Orange Bagel, a place I'd been curious about for a while. I found it while searching for Suwon cafés, and the mood looked good and the bagel selection was wide, so I really wanted to try it.

Having been there, I was happy with both the food and the atmosphere, and I can see why it gets recommended so often as a Suwon coffee spot. You get a hearty meal and coffee together, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Suwon brunch café.

What's the atmosphere like at Orange Bagel?
The café is clean and tasteful inside, and natural light pours in through the window seats, which makes it a great spot for photos. The moment I walked in, the smell of bagels baking warmed the whole place. It's the kind of atmosphere you want to linger in. There were plenty of couples on dates and groups of friends having brunch, so it felt lively.

What I ordered at Orange Bagel
This time I ordered the salmon bagel, the pepperoni bagel and the bacon egg mayo bagel. Adding a warm coffee made it more than enough for a meal. I'd heard this was a great Suwon coffee spot, and the coffee smelled rich and went really well with the bagels.

Salmon bagel: my favorite
The salmon bagel was generously stuffed with fresh salmon, and it looked hearty just sitting there. The cream cheese and vegetables worked together nicely, so every bite tasted full. The salmon's rich flavor and soft texture came through, and the bagel was chewy with a slightly crisp outside, so the texture was satisfying too. As someone who loves salmon, this was my favorite.
Pepperoni bagel: slightly spicy, not greasy
Next was the pepperoni bagel, packed with salty pepperoni and rich cheese. A little spiciness kept it from feeling heavy, and the savory flavor built the more I chewed. It paired really well with the bagel's dense chew, and I kept reaching for more. I thought it would be a light brunch, but it was more filling than expected and enough for a full meal.
Bacon egg mayo bagel: I'd order it again
The bacon egg mayo bagel was better than I expected too. The rich egg mayo and salty bacon balanced each other, and it's a flavor almost anyone would like. Soft egg and crispy bacon together made for a nice texture, and it went really well with the bagel. It's easy to eat, so I'd want to order it again next time.
How's the coffee? Low acidity and nutty
The warm coffee had a strong, nutty bean aroma and wasn't very acidic, so it was good with the bagels. I thought there was a reason people call this a Suwon coffee spot. Enjoying coffee leisurely over brunch made the weekend morning feel extra special.

Are the seats comfortable at Orange Bagel?
The seats are spaced widely, so I could eat comfortably, and the café was kept clean, which made it pleasant to stay. I was really happy with the atmosphere. It works well alone, and also with friends or family. It was good for quiet conversation, and the photos came out pretty, which I liked.
Is it worth a trip as a café tour near Seoul or in Gyeonggi?
Lots of people look for cafés near Seoul these days, and I think Orange Bagel in Suwon is well worth a visit. You get tasty bagels and coffee together, and the atmosphere is good too, so I don't think you'd regret coming from far away. If you're looking for places to visit in Gyeonggi, it's also a decent stop on a café tour.
If you like bagels, choosing from the variety is part of the fun. I tried three this time, but I'm curious about the others and want to try new ones next time. Brunch lovers especially will probably be very satisfied.

It satisfied me on both atmosphere and taste, so I think I'll remember it for a long time. If you're looking for a Suwon brunch café, I'd recommend Orange Bagel for a hearty meal and coffee together. As a Suwon coffee spot, the coffee was excellent, and the salmon bagel, pepperoni bagel and bacon egg mayo bagel were all satisfying. It's a place I'd think of first for future Suwon café trips, and I'm happy to recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for places to visit in Gyeonggi or a café near Seoul~~!!
