Sugisogeum Keimyung University branch is a Korean pub (hansik jujeom) on Seodang-ro 7-gil in Dalseo, Daegu, near Keimyung University. On a Sunday evening the writer and her boyfriend walked straight in with no wait and ordered sugi dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken) for 25,000 won, gejang sundubu (crab soft tofu stew) for 15,000 won, and sugi-bap (rice set) for 12,000 won. The spicy, rich broth of the gejang sundubu at Sugisogeum was the dish worth coming back for.
