If you're looking for a café in Wirye where you can have a relaxed brunch, I'd recommend Cafe The Venezia. It has a good range of brunch sets pairing sandwiches with coffee, and you can enjoy the view of the lake park through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

I went on a weekday afternoon and it was still quite busy. It seems to be a place people come to enjoy a cup of coffee at a leisurely pace.

They also give 2 hours 30 minutes of free parking, so getting there by car was easy!
What's the interior like, and how is the lake park view at Cafe The Venezia?

The first things that catch your eye when you walk into Cafe The Venezia are the big interior space and the wide-open floor-to-ceiling windows. Wirye Lake Park is right outside, so in spring, summer, autumn and winter alike, just sitting inside feels open and not stuffy at all.

On a nice day, I think sitting at a terrace seat with a leisurely cup of coffee would be lovely. It felt less like a place where you just drink coffee and leave, and more like somewhere suited to a long chat or a light meal.

Is it pet-friendly?
Pets are welcome at Cafe The Venezia, and there was even a dedicated pet cushion, so you can tell they put thought into it. There were some super cute doggies there that day too!! haha
What does the brunch set menu at Cafe The Venezia look like?
Brunch at Cafe The Venezia is a sandwich-and-coffee combination, and you can choose from a croissant, a panini or a club sandwich. The variety in the brunch lineup stood out to me.

There's no pasta or soup, just sandwich plus coffee, but that was plenty for me. There's a fair variety of sandwiches, and since there's a set for one, I could enjoy it comfortably even visiting alone like this.

Besides the croissant I ordered, you can choose a panini or a club sandwich~

Is it okay to go just for dessert?
Even if you're not after brunch, Cafe The Venezia has five or six cakes and bakery items, so going just for dessert works fine too.

They sell bingsu (shaved ice dessert) in summer, and it looks like vin chaud (mulled wine) has newly come out as a winter menu item!~

How much is the croissant brunch set for one, and how does it taste?
What I ordered that day was the croissant brunch set for one plus a few single bakery items. The prices I noted in the original post are below.
- Croissant ₩4,800
- Red bean bun ₩3,700
- Croissant brunch + hot latte (set for one) ₩17,200

There were several kinds of bread, and I went with the croissant. I really wanted that buttery, crisp, flaky texture haha. It comes with a little salad, and the croissant is filled with ham, cheese, arugula and a fried egg, with whole grain mustard spread inside.

The set drink is an Americano by default, but for ₩1,000 extra you can switch to a latte!

It might look like an ordinary sandwich, but maybe because of the atmosphere, it tasted great haha

The croissant was crisp and the butter flavor came through well, the cheese inside was rich and nutty~ and there was plenty of sauce, so nothing felt lacking or disappointing.

The coffee was on the nutty side~ and strong, so I think it would go well with sweet cakes or pies too.

Extra orders: red bean bun and another croissant
On top of that, I got a red bean bun, and even a separate croissant because the sandwich was just so good haha

Cafe The Venezia has a rich brunch menu and a few bakery items you can pick individually like this, so you have a wide range of choices.

A relaxed brunch in Wirye: who is Cafe The Venezia right for?
With its spacious interior, floor-to-ceiling windows and lake park view, Cafe The Venezia was a Wirye brunch café that's easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace.

It's worth considering if you want a brunch with a friend or a date spot in Wirye. There were plenty of group customers too.

I think it would also be nice to get a takeaway and eat while walking in the park right in front :-)
