Balbal Vintage Sinsa is a Sinsa vintage luxury secondhand shop that carries authentic branded pieces.

I visited Balbal Vintage on Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, a huge vintage luxury secondhand shop where you can score finds with no fakes, only authentic pieces! It goes down to basement level 3, so it's a great place to lose a few hours. Let me show you around 🤍
Where is Balbal Vintage Sinsa?
From Sinsa Station Exit 8, head to Garosu-gil and you'll find Balbal Vintage Sinsa in the basement of the building right next to the Apple Store, the landmark of Garosu-gil. It's a must-visit hot spot on Garosu-gil, and I made it to this Sinsa vintage shop (❁´◡`❁)

With vintage you really have to try things on before buying, so I went in person 😌 It already has a name as a secondhand shop in Seongsu too, and since it only carries authentic items, not fakes, I knew I had to stop by ✔️

Atmosphere and brands at Balbal Vintage
Balbal Vintage Sinsa is a Y2K-feeling shop that mixes retro, street mood and high fashion. The shop is in a basement, and I felt that special vibe the moment I walked in. Still, it felt more fresh than déjà vu.

There was plenty of high-end clothing like Chanel, and you can try on all kinds of luxury pieces such as Yves Saint Laurent, Prada and Louis Vuitton. I loved being able to try on lots of items, compare them and then buy!

The space is big enough that men's clothes, women's clothes, accessories and small items add up to what felt like nearly 1,000 pieces at Balbal Vintage Sinsa 🤭 There were also lots of small items that could add a point to the plain outfit I wore there.

Some outfits are styled head to toe, so if the size and price work, you can take the whole look home, which is another plus. They're secondhand but neat like new, and there's the fun of showing off your taste and style: casual, classic mood or street feel ✨ You can check the condition with your own eyes, so satisfaction is bound to be high, and the naturally formed wash and signs of wear actually felt one of a kind.

Does Balbal Vintage have women's size 66 and 77?
Yes, the items at Balbal Vintage Sinsa came in plenty of women's size 66 and 77. At vintage shops around Apgujeong and Sinsa, size is always the worry, since secondhand clothes tend to be too big or too small in size and fit.
The skirt in the outfit I tried on and bought above is Ralph Lauren, a wrap skirt in the mid-₩40,000 range that covers belly fat. If you put in the legwork, you can carry home loads of really pretty things from Balbal Vintage 😘

Finding your personal color at a vintage shop
At regular clothing stores, pieces with high-saturation colors that really show off color are rare, but vintage shops have that advantage, so you can try many styles, which is another plus. Now that finding the colors that suit you (personal color) is so popular, I had a great time holding up lots of colors, trying on what might suit me and building a style different from everyone else's.

How long does it take to see all of Balbal Vintage Sinsa?
Balbal Vintage Sinsa goes down to basement level 3, so it's big enough that seeing everything takes a full hour or more. Partway through there's room to sit, with a sofa, tables and so on.

Fitting rooms and the item limit
The fitting rooms at Balbal Vintage have plenty of room on every floor, they're spacious, and there's no limit on how many items you bring in, so you can try things on freely! There are mirrors too, so I could check inside without stepping out 🩵

Accessories and small items corner
All around Balbal Vintage there are small items and accessories (necklaces, rings, bracelets, stockings and more). If you look well, treasure-like items are tucked here and there, so I plan to go back regularly to catch the good stuff Balbal Vintage keeps updating!

What three skirts at Balbal Vintage cost
On the day I visited, I bought three skirts in total at Balbal Vintage Sinsa, each in the mid-₩40,000 range: one Yves Saint Laurent and two Ralph Lauren 🤍 Think of it as getting items with a real retail price of over ₩300,000 for about this much!
Balbal Vintage is a Sinsa vintage secondhand shop with no fakes and 100% authentic items only. Even if vintage clothing is new to you, you can get luxury at a price that isn't a burden, so find your own unique style at this Sinsa luxury clothing shop!
