Ttukseom sunset burger stop in Seoul: cheeseburger at Reel Burger
In short
Reel Burger (릴버거) is a handmade burger restaurant in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin, Seoul, near Exit 4 of Jayang Station. On a trip to watch the sunset at Ttukseom Han River Park, the writer stopped at Reel Burger for the cheeseburger, classic burger, black pepper Cajun fries and onion rings, and especially liked the hotel-lounge interior and the patties. Since I was going to Ttukseom to watch the sunset, I wanted a really good handmade burger, so I headed to Reel Burger (릴버거), known as a Jayang-dong favorite. They say it's the best handmade burger place in Seoul, praised by Chef Lee Won-il and Hong Seok-cheon~ I went with such high hopes, haha.

Reel Burger exterior and interior
A bold, colorful exterior

This is the Reel Burger exterior, with its super vivid colors. So cute~
A hotel-lounge style interior

The inside has a hotel lounge feel too~ The mood was so different with and without sunlight, such a warm feeling..! Sunlight came in while we were eating and the place looked so pretty that I took one more photo~

The counter looked like a real hotel lounge, haha. Actual room keys hang on the wall, so the moment I saw them I was bursting with the urge to travel..! I really do have to get away soon, haha.
The chairs were comfortable, and there's a neat restroom inside the restaurant, which I liked!

There's a self-service corner by the entrance~ It has bottled water, cups, straws, napkins, wet wipes, disposable gloves, small plates and Tabasco sauce!
How to order at Reel Burger and the table setup

We ordered two burgers and two sides~
- No.1 Cheeseburger
- No.2 Classic Burger
- Black pepper Cajun fries
- Onion rings
Pickles with celery, cucumber and olives come as standard, and the staff bring disposable gloves, wet wipes and napkins by default! If anything is missing or you need more, just grab it from the self-service corner, haha. If you order fries, they bring ketchup too~
How do the Reel Burger cheeseburger and classic burger taste?

Our cheeseburger and classic burger arrived~ The one at front left is the cheeseburger, and the one behind is the classic burger!
Cheeseburger: the best dish of the day

The Reel Burger cheeseburger is true to the basics~! So good! It comes with American cheese, red onion, special garlic mayo and the signature sauce, and the patty was just so, so delicious, seriously! Nicely grilled patty, sauces, cheese and onion all together made it a wonderful burger! Of everything I ate today, it's number one in my heart!
Classic burger: rich flavor with bacon jam

The Reel Burger classic burger has the bacon jam that Edward Lee of Culinary Class Wars loves, and it blends with the signature sauce for a deep, rich flavor~ It also has American cheese, fresh romaine and tomato, so it feels a bit more special than the cheeseburger! The patty is so good and the bun is so soft that the texture was amazing~
Reel Burger sides: black pepper Cajun fries and palm-sized onion rings

The black pepper fries were crispy, and I loved that they're Cajun-style, haha. Fries with a burger, right?? It would feel wrong without them, so we ordered them for sure!
And then the onion rings, which were enormous~! There are more tucked behind the four layers you can see..! haha

The Reel Burger onion rings were as big as my palm, haha. I had no idea, and since we both love onion rings we said, let's each order one~ but the moment they arrived I thought, ordering mistake...! haha; But they were so savory and tasty that we ended up finishing almost all of them...!
Is Reel Burger good takeout for Ttukseom Han River Park?

If you're heading to Ttukseom Han River Park, I recommend Reel Burger. Eat in, or take it to go for a picnic! (Recommended as Han River Park takeout!) These handmade burgers were delicious even cold! I think I'll be craving Reel Burger again soon, so I'll post again after I revisit~
While you're at Reel Burger, take a walk in Ttukseom Han River Park too, haha. The sunset there is so pretty~
