Dangsan date pub with Hawaiian pizza, Cabrew Lager: Long Time No See
In short
Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is a craft beer pizza pub near Exit 12 of Dangsan Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, where guests tag a wristband and pour as much as they like from 29 craft beers. The writer and her boyfriend shared a half-and-half Hawaiian and bulgogi shrimp pizza with an added cheese crust and cheese rabokki (ramen and rice cakes in spicy sauce), with Goose IPA and Cabrew Premium Lager. Because you pay only for what you pour, Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is a fun, good-value pizza-and-beer date spot.

Ever ended up with a little too much drink left over, or not quite enough? Near Dangsan Station there's a place where you can pour as much craft beer as you want, yourself. I went to Long Time No See Dangsan Branch (롱타임노씨 당산점), a Dangsan favorite where you can enjoy pizza with 29 kinds of craft beer!

Size and atmosphere
Long Time No See Dangsan Branch uses both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, so it's much bigger than you'd expect. It looked smaller from outside, so I was a little surprised when I walked in 😮

There were lots of office workers stopping by for a drink after work, and quite a few couples on dates too. It isn't too loud overall, so it's a nice place to chat over a drink 🥂🤍
How do you order?
You order from your phone at each table, and if the connection acts up, you can also order at the kiosk near the entrance.

There are plenty of pizzas, but also lots of dishes that go well with beer, like pasta, fried food and ra-bokki (spicy rice cakes with noodles).

The beer machines are only on the 2nd floor, so on the 3rd floor you order directly, like regular draft beer.
What we ordered for a couple's pizza and beer, and the prices
- Half-and-half pizza (Hawaiian/bulgogi shrimp) ₩24,500
- Cheese crust add-on +₩3,000
- Cheese ra-bokki ₩9,500
- Goose IPA about ₩8,900 / Cabrew Premium Lager about ₩5,400
Since I came for pizza and beer with my boyfriend, we ordered a half-and-half pizza and ra-bokki! The cheese crust was a no-brainer add-on, no questions asked.
29 craft beers, self-poured with a wristband tag
Once you finish ordering, each person gets a wristband. You tag it at the beer machine on one side of the room and pour as much as you like. It was my first time trying this, so I kept walking back and forth just because it was so fun, haha.
With a whopping 29 kinds of craft beer, it's easy to taste a little of many. IPAs, lagers, ales and more are on offer, so picking by your own taste is half the fun.
A safe pick: Cabrew Premium Lager
I prefer nutty, clean beers over strongly citrusy ones, so I picked the Cabrew Premium Lager, and it went really well with the pizza! If you can't decide what to drink, this is a safe one I'd recommend 🍺

You pay for exactly what you pour, so it also works if you don't want to commit to a whole glass, and it felt like good value! The whole process is novel and fun, which left an impression on me.
Free popcorn snack, with refills at the self bar

When you sit down, you get popcorn as a basic snack, and you can grab more at the self bar. It goes well with beer, so I kept picking at it before the food arrived, haha.
How big is the cheese ra-bokki?

The cheese ra-bokki (₩9,500) came out first, with a sweet and spicy sauce and loads of cheese on top, so it's nice to take a bite between slices of pizza.

Pizza alone can feel a bit heavy, and the ra-bokki cleans your palate in between! The portion is quite a bit bigger than I expected, though, so for two people the pizza alone may be enough, and for three or more I'd recommend ordering it too 👍
Half-and-half Hawaiian and bulgogi shrimp pizza with a cheese crust

The cheese aroma hits you the moment the pizza arrives. Doesn't it look so delicious?! The Hawaiian pizza had the sweetness of grilled pineapple, which went well with the beer.
I'm so glad I added the cheese crust! Dip it in the garlic dipping sauce that comes with it and you can enjoy the dough all the way to the end.

The bulgogi shrimp pizza is loaded with sweet bulgogi and sauce, so it was perfect for my kid-like taste buds, haha. If I had to pick just one, my vote goes to bulgogi shrimp!
Restroom, self bar and the 30% discount for people named Noh
There's a restroom and a self bar inside the 2nd-floor space, so it's convenient to use.
Also, they apparently give 30% off the total bill to anyone with the surname Noh (노). It seems to come from the shop's name, Long Time No See ("No See" sounds like "Noh-ssi"), and I thought it was hilarious when I first saw it, haha. If you have a friend with the surname Noh, it might be fun to visit together.

Who is Long Time No See Dangsan Branch for?
Pouring the beer myself was a fresh experience, and I was happy with the pizza and beer combo! If you're looking for a different kind of bar near Dangsan Station, or a good spot for pizza and beer after work, I recommend giving it a visit 🫶
