Thick-cut fries at the yellow Songdo outlet fry shop: Angry Potato
In short
Angry Potato Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a fries-focused fast casual shop at the entrance of the B1 food court in Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, Incheon. Drawn in by the yellow storefront while looking for a shopping snack, the writer made a first visit and took home a Deep Squad Party Pack (37,000 won) with a 3-sauce set, then tried hot crunch chicken, chili cheese sticks, chunky fries, chewy potato skewers and mini burger skewers at home. Angry Potato is a good outlet snack stop for sampling lots of menu items at once in generous, neatly packed takeout.

The yellow shop that caught my eye in the Songdo outlet food court
Angry Potato Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch (앵그리포테이토 현대프리미엄아울렛 송도점) is at the entrance of the basement-level food court of the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo. While browsing the outlet I started wanting a light snack, so I headed down to the food court. Among all the shops, Angry Potato was one I'd never seen before, yet it stood out so much that I stopped without really meaning to.

Angry Potato is a fast casual shop built around fries, with mini handmade burgers and chicken tenders as well. It sits at the entrance of the B1 food court of the Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, and parking is free.
The moment I walked into the food court, the yellow shop grabbed my eyes right away!

The bright interior is noticeable even from far away, and the goofy characters naturally keep your eyes on it. My feet were heading there before I knew it.
What I ordered at Angry Potato Songdo

Angry Potato has a range of dishes built on fries, so it's easy to pick by taste. I came thinking of a quick snack, but looking at the menu there were more choices than I expected, and I hesitated for a while over what to get.

Wanting to try a bit of everything, I decided to take home the Deep Squat Party Pack for ₩37,000.
How many sauces does Angry Potato have, and how to choose

At Angry Potato in the Songdo outlet you can add extra sauces. There are a whopping 7 to choose from, and picking to your taste is a lot of fun.

The 3-pack of sauces is better value than a single one. You can try several with your fries, so if choosing just one feels like a shame, the 3-pack is worth considering.

When I visited, a Naver review event was running: write a review and get 1 free piece of chicken.
What's in the Deep Squat Party Pack, and how much food you get

I got the Deep Squat Party Pack packed up generously, and all the way home I was excited, wondering how it would taste.

The Deep Squat Party Pack comes with the items below. With so many kinds, the amount of food was seriously generous.
- 5 hot crunch chicken pieces
- Mini burger skewer
- Chili's cheese sticks
- Chewy potato skewer
- Fries
- Cheddar cheese & ranch tartar
- Pickles

Hot crunch chicken
Angry Potato's hot crunch chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside, so the texture was great with every bite. It has a slight kick, and that subtle spiciness kept it from feeling greasy, so I kept reaching for more.

Adding sauce on top gave it even more flavor variety, which I loved.

Chili's cheese sticks
The Chili's cheese sticks looked appetizing from the start, fried golden brown and coated in seasoning.

Eating them warm, the cheese tasted even richer and softer. Bite in and the crispy coating gives way to stretchy cheese, which made them even more fun to eat. As a cheese lover, these were my favorite snack.
Fries
Angry Potato's fries are thicker and bigger than ordinary fries, so you really feel that fluffy potato texture.

They went well with the other items and were nice to nibble on in between.

Chewy potato skewer
You can tell from the name that the chewy potato skewer is all about chewiness, and one bite proved it: crispy outside, wonderfully chewy inside.
It felt different from regular fries, which made it fun to eat, and the bite-sized pieces on a skewer are easy to eat. Mild potato flavor plus a chewy texture made it a snack I kept reaching for.

Mini burger skewer
The mini burger skewer looked special from the very first glance.

The skewer strings together three burgers, so you get to try several flavors of burger at once. The size isn't overwhelming, so it was nice to taste one at a time, and it's also fine for sharing among several people.
How was the takeout packaging at Angry Potato?
Even when you take many items at once, Angry Potato packs each one neatly, so the takeout was tidy and easy to carry. It would also be good to bring outdoors as a simple snack.
This time I took it home and ate there, but next time I think it'd be nice to sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy it casually.
