I was craving wood-fired pizza for the first time in a while, and my Mija❤️ was dreaming of polpo, so we headed to Pizzeria Snug (피제리아 스너그), near Digital Media City Station in Sangam-dong. Hehe.

How far is Pizzeria Snug from Digital Media City Station, and is there parking?
Pizzeria Snug is a 4–5 minute walk from Digital Media City Station (Airport Railroad, Exit 9). If you're driving, there's mechanical parking in the building, and I hear they cover 1 hour of free parking, so keep that in mind. Hehe.
True to its name, Snug, the place feels cozy and comforting😌

Pizzeria Snug exterior and interior atmosphere
The outside first! The exterior is already charming, with a red accent wall and a simple, stylish sign that catches your eye, hehe. The entrance is neat, and the lighting looks even prettier at night, so it's a perfect spot for photos, such a vibe😣

Inside is pure modern Italian mood! Warm wood-tone tables, red-toned decor and soft lighting come together for a feeling that's cozy yet upscale!🤓

The open kitchen is especially impressive. The smell of pizza baking in the big oven spreads through the restaurant in real time, and it really got my hopes up, hehe. Each table has pretty flowers and thoughtful little props, and soft jazz and acoustic music played in the background, which made it great for chatting😀

Terrace seats and seating for groups
Pizzeria Snug also has terrace seating outside, so eating out there on a nice day would be a lot of fun☺️ The tables are nicely spaced and the room is spacious, so I think it suits dates, small gatherings, work dinners, even wedding invitation meetups!

What's at the self-bar?
The self-bar has water, pickles, wet wipes, pizza sauces and even hair ties, and you can feel the owner's attention to detail, hehe. The whole interior is so full of vibe that you'll want to take photos everywhere🥳

Pizzeria Snug menu and prices
The main attraction at Pizzeria Snug is Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza. Pizzas run in the low-to-mid ₩20,000s and pasta in the low ₩20,000s, which felt like good value for the Sangam area! There are also pasta, salads and various evening snack dishes, plus a varied wine list and beer, so it's great for pairing!
Here's what we ordered, hehe
- Prosciutto arugula pizza (₩25,000)
- Polpo (₩25,000)

What does the prosciutto arugula pizza taste like?
Pizzeria Snug's prosciutto arugula pizza is piled high with fresh wild arugula like a little mountain, and the salty prosciutto, soft cheese and house-made butter go together really well! First up in the review is this prosciutto arugula pizza😙
The dough fresh out of the wood-fired oven is crisp and chewy outside, fluffy and moist inside, and every bite was so good that I burst with happiness!😀

The bitterness of the arugula balances perfectly with the savory depth of the prosciutto, and the richness of the butter wraps it all together😁

The best sauce for prosciutto arugula pizza
Of the 3 sauces Pizzeria Snug provides, the shallot ranch sauce was an especially perfect match for the prosciutto arugula pizza, hehe. It isn't harsh but has deep flavor, so you keep reaching for more, and since it's wood-fired pizza you can enjoy it all the way to the crust edge, so I really enjoyed the whole pie🥰 A life-changing pizza I want to eat again!

What is the polpo (octopus dish) like?
Pizzeria Snug's polpo (octopus) is sous vide for 6+ hours, a perfect evening snack dish! Next up, the polpo~ The octopus was so tender and chewy, and the texture was really good😄

The polpo came with baby potatoes and a house-made carrot purée, so the colors were pretty and the balance was excellent~

The fresh sea aroma of the octopus, the sweetness of the soft purée and the spicy sauce came together, and eating it with the pizza was a fantastic combination! The plain, mild pizza and the flavor of seafood harmonized, so it was a super satisfying meal🤩
Verdict: is Pizzeria Snug worth recommending?
To sum up, Pizzeria Snug near Digital Media City Station in Sangam-dong uses fresh ingredients and has real depth of flavor, so you can enjoy properly made Italian food without anything overly harsh! If you want proper wood-fired pizza and a nice atmosphere in Sangam DMC, I strongly recommend Pizzeria Snug👍
