Before the treatment started, the stylist stored my bag for me! There are personal lockers, so leaving your things is convenient. After handing over my stuff, I put on the gown they had ready and got set for the treatment.

Fine, dyed hair before my first perm in almost 10 years

Before the treatment, my hair was fine and had been dyed often for years, and it was my first perm in almost 10 years. My hair is on the thin side, so I hardly ever got perms, and when I thought about it, the last one was almost 10 years ago haha

Honestly, I'd gotten really sick of my old hairstyle lately and wanted a change of mood! I was a little nervous since it had been so long, but this time I decided to change things up naturally with a C-curl perm and a root perm.

It massages you from your back down to your calves, and it felt like the tiredness from sitting so long just melted away. Washing my hair and getting a massage felt like a little moment of healing. Personally, it was the facility that impressed me most! I've never seen a salon like this..... 💗

The neutralizing step was also done lying in the massage chair! I got a back massage during that wait too, so the time wasn't boring at all. A perm usually feels like it takes forever, but lying back comfortably with a massage, I honestly didn't notice the time passing haha. Thanks to that, I got through the neutralizing step comfortably!

C-curl and root perm results: before and after

The finished hair has a natural C-curl at the ends and the root volume is back. My C-curl perm and root perm are finally done! I'd been worried since it had been so long, but I liked it much more than I expected. My hair is thin so volume goes flat easily, and I was happy that the overall shape came out so pretty!
