In short
I used HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm in Korea during dry weather on my sensitive skin. It melted softly, removed my makeup cleanly, and left my skin feeling less tight after washing.

How does the balm melt on skin?

When I first opened it, the balm was firm with a slightly black tint. I was told that it contains Jirisan charcoal, and once I placed it on my hand, it melted with my body heat and spread softly like an oil.

It came with a dedicated spatula, which made it convenient and hygienic to scoop out.

How were emulsification and makeup removal?

When I added water, the balm turned milky and emulsified. Gently rolling it with my fingers made it easy to rinse away. After trying it on lipstick, eyeliner, and lip pencil, I found that they came off cleanly with almost no residue.

I also used it around my nose, rolling it gently as if massaging. It seemed to help with sebum and blackhead care, though that was only my personal experience.

Did my skin feel less tight after washing?

In dry weather, I worry about my face feeling tight after cleansing. After using this product, my skin felt moisturized and supple. Even when I waited a little before applying cream right after washing, I did not notice much dryness.

I have sensitive skin and was able to use it comfortably without irritation. Skin reactions can vary from person to person.

Who might like this cleansing feel?

This was a cleansing feel worth considering if you want to melt away makeup gently or find a squeaky-clean, tight feeling after washing uncomfortable. I bought it on Coupang and felt that delivery was quick as well.
