Baekhyeon-dong pizzeria, gnocchi lover's couple set No.1: Raon Sik Tak

Today I went to Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch (라온식탁 판교점), a great spot on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo for when you're craving good Western food, haha. It's on Baekhyeon Café Street, so it's great for dates, and you can enjoy a wide range of Western dishes like pasta and gnocchi, so I really recommend it, haha. It's a wood-fired pizza place above all, so you absolutely have to order a pizza here!

This time I ordered three dishes: Cotto e Ricotta, cream potato gnocchi and shrimp rosé pasta. If you usually like pasta, I think you'll like this place, haha.

What kind of place is Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch?

When you look for somewhere to eat on Baekhyeon Café Street in Pangyo, there are lots of Western restaurants selling pasta and risotto, haha.

Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is also a good place to go when you want a variety of Western dishes at low prices.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely, so it seems great for a meal with friends, and for a date where you enjoy Western food in a nice setting, haha.

The menu at Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is mostly Western food: pasta, gnocchi, wood-fired pizza, salads and more, haha. There are set menus for couples, so we ordered Set No.1 for two.

How is the Cotto e Ricotta wood-fired pizza?

The first dish is Cotto e Ricotta! Raon Sik Tak is known for its handmade wood-fired pizza, so I had really high hopes, and it truly didn't let me down, haha.

Cotto e Ricotta has ricotta cheese on top of cotto ham, and maybe because it's made in a handmade wood-fired oven, the chewy pizza dough, the salty cotto ham and the ricotta went together so well, haha.

Especially when you eat a slice of pizza and then take a bite of pasta, you get different flavors, and I thought, good thing we ordered several dishes together. It was so delicious I'd want to order it again next time, haha.

Cream potato gnocchi, through a gnocchi addict's eyes

Next is the cream potato gnocchi I'd been looking forward to! Gnocchi is an Italian dish made with potato, and its charm is the texture, chewy yet fluffy. Add a cream sauce and you get a smooth, rich flavor, haha.

Unlike ordinary pasta, the gnocchi at Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch had a wonderful balance between the chewy potato texture and the thick, rich cream sauce, haha.

I personally love gnocchi so much that I'm the type who goes around hunting for gnocchi spots, and the gnocchi here is the real deal, lol.

How is the shrimp rosé pasta?

The last dish is the shrimp rosé pasta!

When I go for pasta, I often can't decide between tomato and cream, haha. So I picked rosé pasta, which lets you taste both!

I liked that the shrimp rosé pasta has thick, plump shrimp, and the creaminess typical of rosé sauce blended nicely with the tomato sauce, so it was delicious, haha.

I think it's a safe choice for anyone who likes pasta.

Is Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch worth recommending?

At Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch this time, I tried three dishes: Cotto e Ricotta, cream potato gnocchi and shrimp rosé pasta, haha. The best part was that it's good value with a really nice atmosphere, so it seemed great for get-togethers with friends or a date with a partner, haha.

Ordering pizza, pasta and gnocchi all at once let us taste different kinds of Western food, which was great, and it tasted good too, so I highly recommend it, haha. I especially recommend ordering the handmade wood-fired pizza and the cream potato gnocchi, haha.
