Mr. Squid Yongin Bojeong Branch (미스터오징어 용인보정점) is a sashimi restaurant right on Bojeong Cafe Street, and you can park 2-3 cars in front of the shop! If it's full, I'd recommend the public parking lot nearby!

It sits at the start of Bojeong Cafe Street! You just step one block in from the main road, and it's right in the middle, so it's really easy to find!
There are all kinds of menus posted outside the shop. I saw the month's recommended raw fish and mulhoe (cold raw-fish soup), a summer specialty, too!

Do the side dishes at Mr. Squid include steamed egg?
The side dishes at Mr. Squid Yongin Bojeong Branch are seaweed soup, corn salad, aged kimchi, seaweed stems, ssamjang and sesame oil dip, and steamed egg! The seaweed soup was honestly... so good. I loved that steamed egg counts as a side dish too, haha
What comes on the medium mixed sashimi platter, and is it enough for four?
The medium mixed sashimi (₩54,000) comes with salmon, flounder, rockfish, flounder fin and red sea bream! There was more than I expected. Even with four of us, we ate for a long while.
Lettuce wraps, chili peppers and garlic come out with it too~
Every piece of sashimi was chewy and tender, and so good.
What does the half-and-half fry look like?
The half-and-half fry (₩24,000) is half fried squid and half fried shrimp. The squid isn't cut in rings, so it's much easier to eat! Crispy... so good, and doesn't the color look great?
Which orders come with the free spicy fish stew?
At Mr. Squid Yongin Bojeong Branch, you get the spicy fish stew free when you order mixed sashimi, flounder, rockfish, flounder + rockfish, or flounder sekkosi in medium size or larger! A place that gives stew as a freebie is a good place... and it's not low quality just because it's free. It had lots of bones in it and a big portion! So good,,,, 🤤
