Andamiro Pancake is within a 5-minute walk of Konkuk Univ. Station Exit 1, right across from Common Ground.

Even though it's on the 2nd floor and I came at an awkward weekday afternoon hour, customers kept coming in. Yep, I found a real Konkuk hotspot 👍

What is the inside of Andamiro Pancake like?

The Konkuk Univ. branch of Andamiro Pancake stands out with a warm, calm interior of light wood tones and white. It's quite spacious, so I think it would work well for group gatherings too.

Potted plants dotted around give it a lovely nature-friendly mood, that "plant-terior" feel.

With the stylish interior and cozy atmosphere, it's a space that's great for taking photos and also for staying a long while and relaxing 🥰

The menu has plenty of choices, from the signature soufflé to bingsu (shaved ice dessert), croffles (croissant waffles), a range of coffees, ades and teas. And the coffee can be made decaf!

How long does the soufflé pancake take?

The soufflé at Andamiro Pancake is made as soon as you order, so it takes about 20 minutes. For a freshly cooked, delicious soufflé, a wait like that is nothing!

Mango soufflé for 19,000 won: how does it taste?

The mango soufflé I ordered this time (₩19,000) has generous mango and whipped cream on top of a pancake that melts softly. The look alone puts you in a good mood, and the taste lives up to it, so you can expect good things 👏

It was loaded with thin-sliced mango too, and the plating is honestly a work of art 😍

One bite and the cloud-soft texture and fresh mango fill your mouth, a taste anyone who loves desserts will be happy with. They also serve a sweet-tart mango syrup on the side, and drizzling it on makes it even better 👍

Coffee with soufflé: iced Americano and matcha Einspänner

Iced Americano, 4,500 won

The Americano at Andamiro Pancake uses nutty beans without strong acidity, so it has a smooth, deep flavor. Even people who find acidic coffee a bit much can enjoy it easily, and paired with the sweet soufflé you get a more balanced taste!

Matcha Einspänner, 6,000 won

The matcha Einspänner (matcha topped with cream, called "matcha Shuspenner" in Korean) is a popular drink where the bittersweet flavor of strong matcha meets soft cream, and it's a fantastic match for the sweet soufflé.

The rich matcha aroma spreads gently and leaves a clean finish, perfect to enjoy with dessert.
