Where is Hola Poke Seolleung Branch, and what are the hours?
Hola Poke Seolleung Branch (올라포케 선릉점) is on the 2nd floor at 6-4 Seolleung-ro 86-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, open 10:30 to 20:30. Break time is 14:30 to 16:30, and it's closed on weekends. I had errands near Seolleung Station, lunchtime rolled around, and poke is my current obsession, so I headed to Hola Poke Seolleung Branch.

It's a 5-minute walk from Seolleung Station Exit 2, so it was easy to find. There's also parking in the building, I hear.

Why poke makes a good diet lunch
I'm on a diet right now, so whenever I'm out I end up looking for poke. It's packed with nutrition for a full meal, it tastes good, and it isn't heavy, so it's my favorite food at the moment.

Hola Poke Seolleung Branch is a perfect lunch spot for office workers near Seolleung Station who are dieting for summer.

Hola Poke Seolleung Branch: atmosphere and seating
The kitchen is open, so you can see everything being prepared, and it felt transparent and clean. Maybe because companies around Seolleung Station give lunch meal vouchers, lots of office workers from the area came in for lunch.

There was a bar-style table that's great for eating alone, plus mostly 2- and 4-person tables. Many people ate in, but plenty were also ordering takeout or delivery.

You can apparently buy a prepaid card here too, and for office workers near Seolleung Station who want a healthy diet lunch, that looked like a good option.

What's on the menu at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch?
Poke is the main item, so there was a wide variety. Besides poke, you can also order a custom wrap with the ingredients you want.

You can also get a set with soup, and the side dishes, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) and tofu salad, looked tasty too.

Ordering the Super Protein Poke to go: how long did it take?
I ordered the Super Protein Poke from the popular menu, and got it to go so I could eat comfortably at home. It's cooked as soon as you order and was ready in under 10 minutes. The wait isn't long, so it felt like a perfect lunch for busy office workers with their precious lunch hour.
My Super Protein Poke came with salmon, avocado, chicken breast, flying fish roe and basic toppings. The recommended sauce was sriracha mayo, so I went with that. It's plenty as is, but I love salmon, so I added extra salmon, and I packed a Pepsi Zero Lime to go with it.

Is the Super Protein Poke good for getting enough protein?
It's hard to get enough protein while dieting, but the Super Protein Poke literally has loads of protein, so the biggest plus was getting plenty in a single meal.

You're not getting protein artificially like with a protein shake, but straight from fresh, tasty food, which is great for a nutritious, healthy meal.

How the recommended sriracha mayo sauce tastes
Hola Poke's recommended sauce, sriracha mayo, mixes the spicy kick of sriracha with rich mayonnaise, and it went perfectly with the Super Protein Poke.

Customizing toppings and what's in the bowl
You can customize the toppings however you like. Even without adding anything there are plenty of ingredients, so I thought it's a great menu for people living alone who struggle to eat a varied diet.

Avocado, chickpeas and raw salmon, which I don't usually eat much of, plus pineapple, flying fish roe, ssambu (pickled radish wraps), corn and other vegetables are all in one bowl, along with brown rice, so it was a hearty meal. It's healthy food you can eat on a diet and it tastes good too, so I highly recommend this poke! Give it a try at Hola Poke Seolleung Branch.
