What is Etrenne Jukjeon Branch like?

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch is a steak and Western restaurant near Jukjeon Station in Daegu, and on weekday lunches you get a lunch set discount and a relaxed meal. I needed some healing time while raising my little one, so I went on a lunch date with my mom!

Etrenne is a steak place I'd had my eye on for a while! I heard the owner used to work at Outback for a long time, and a friend who lives near Jukjeon Station said I absolutely had to go, so I was super curious! If you go at weekday lunchtime, you get an even more relaxed meal, and there's a weekday lunch set discount too, so it's worth a look~

Where is Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, and where do you park?

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch is on the ground floor of the Daewoo World Marc West End building at the Jukjeon Station intersection, under the stairs going up to the 2nd floor next to Jojo Kalguksu (noodle soup shop), beside Ichunbong Chicken! It's a little further in from the big Daewoo World Marc West End sign, so it should be easier to find than you'd think!

If you drive, park in the Daewoo World Marc building lot, then cross the bridge connected on the lot's 2nd floor!

Events and atmosphere at Etrenne Jukjeon Branch

Etrenne runs a Pasta Day on the 10th and 20th of every month, with pasta for ₩10,000, and there's always a receipt review event that gets you a Bundaberg (a ginger beer)! The place itself is small, but with warm lighting and a clean feel, it's also nice for a date near Jukjeon Station!

What comes in the signature set at Etrenne Jukjeon Branch?

The signature set comes with garlic bread, salad, cream tenderloin steak, half-and-half lasagna, cola, and sangria (or Bundaberg)! For two people the set menus seem popular, and on weekdays the lunch set is the favorite! I ordered the signature set with the cream tenderloin steak and half-and-half lasagna!

Prices are a bit on the high side, as you'd expect from a leading Western restaurant in Daegu, but for what the set includes I think it's reasonable, and the taste and quality made me smile as I ate! :) Above all, the lunch set is such good value that I really recommend a weekday lunch!

Garlic bread and salad

The garlic bread is served warm from the oven, moist yet crisp, and so good that it vanished in no time haha

The salad is sprinkled generously with grated cheese, and the fresh dressing and crisp veggies came together to really whet the appetite as a starter!

Half-and-half lasagna: potato lasagna and meat lasagna

The half-and-half lasagna comes as one potato-packed lasagna and one meat-packed lasagna, so two people can each try one! It's served on top of tomato sauce, and when I ate it with the sauce I thought, "This is it!" Personally, the potato lasagna was my pick~~

I put each piece in my bowl, cut it with a knife, and fork, yum~! haha The dish looked small, but once I ate it, not at all~~ haha I was so full afterward I patted my belly. The lasagna is generously packed with ingredients and the bites are big, so no need to worry about the portion!

How did the well-done cream tenderloin steak taste?

They asked how I wanted the cream tenderloin steak cooked, so I asked for well-done, and it was done just right! It's loaded with a rich-but-not-heavy cream sauce, and there's a slight spicy kick, maybe because of the chili peppers in it! Still, it's a spicy, creamy, cheesy steak, so I think any woman would love it!!

In case it feels heavy, pickled radish comes alongside, so no worries there, and the meat was tender and easy to cut, in big pieces, a filling amount after eating! Cutting it piece by piece with the knife and dipping it in the cream sauce, it melted in my mouth, so good~

The half-and-half lasagna was great too, but personally the cream tenderloin steak was just right for my taste! There's plenty of cream sauce, so dipping bread in it makes the meal even more filling, and personally this is a Daegu Western restaurant I want to visit again! The atmosphere is nice and, above all, the food quality is good!

Corkage and opening hours at Etrenne Jukjeon Branch

Corkage is free, and table time is 1 hour 30 minutes, so keep that in mind! Jukjeon Station is in central Daegu and seems like a natural meeting spot. If you're looking for a Daegu date course, I'd recommend Etrenne! Next time I'll leave the baby with my mom,, and come on a date with my husband~~~
