Yes Susan is at 16 Jungangno 147beon-gil, Sokcho-si, Gangwon, Tourist Fish Market 1st floor, Unit 124. It's open daily 10:30–20:30 and closed every Tuesday. If you use the public parking lot, you get a parking ticket, which covers 30 minutes.

It's below the Nonghyup Mart in Sokcho Jungang Market, so it's easy to find, and since it's right at the entrance, it's convenient to go straight in and order.

Yes Susan menu: live fish or the sweet lunchbox for the red crab box?

Yes Susan has lots of steamed items, including the red crab box, good-value trimmed snow crab and steamed scallops. You can choose live fish for the red crab box too, but it takes time to prepare, so I ordered the sweet lunchbox that can be picked up quickly. Fried rice is ₩2,000 extra per portion!

You can reserve before visiting, so ordering ahead through Naver is another way to pick up without waiting!

At the front of Yes Susan, we could see live red crab and scallops like this. Some days there's no snow crab, so I'd recommend checking before you visit!

How much is the Yes Susan red crab box?

The red crab box at Yes Susan starts at ₩25,000. They told me it's ₩25,000 for 2 crabs and ₩28,000 for 3 crabs, so I went with 3.

I've always gotten sashimi as takeout, but with crab I'd wonder, where do I even eat it? Won't it be expensive? So I never ate it. At Yes Susan I could eat it at a low price, which made it even better.

Is the red crab box okay after an hour of travel?

Yes Susan packs it in a cooler bag at no extra charge. Carrying it in the cooler bag made me feel much more at ease! They also gave us hygiene gloves and utensils to match the number of people.

We got home more than an hour later, and it hadn't been crushed and the shape hadn't fallen apart, which was even better.

With the red crab box you have to order the fried rice separately, and I ordered one per portion, and there was way more than I expected! 😋

Just looking at the rice, you can tell it's packed full, right? And this fried rice is so nutty and savory that you'll regret it if you skip it. At only ₩2,000, ordering one per portion seems like a good choice! And red crab is nice because even people who don't like sashimi or raw food can enjoy it, right?

How were the crab trimming and meat yield at Yes Susan?

In the Yes Susan red crab box, the crabs are under the fried rice like this. They're well trimmed and easy to eat, so the name "red crab lunchbox" suits it. And the meat yield is good too, so I was amazed with every bite~!

Steamed red crab always smells, so I couldn't really eat it at home, and eating it at a restaurant felt expensive, but at Yes Susan in Sokcho Jungang Market you can just eat it simply from a lunchbox, which is even better.
