Hapjeong café date with an Ethiopia drip and tiramisu: Central Site

Central Site Hapjeong, a spot near Hapjeong where you can enjoy hand-drip coffee, and this is already my third visit. My husband cares more about how the coffee actually tastes than the vibe of a café, so I wanted to introduce him to really good coffee, which is why we came back. Central Site Hapjeong isn't your average café — it's a proper coffee specialty shop where you can really enjoy hand-drip and specialty coffee, so if you love coffee, I really think you should visit at least once.

Walking from Hapjeong Station, and parking

Central Site Hapjeong is located 100m down the alley to the right of Hapjeong Station Exit 2. There's no parking lot on site, so it's more convenient to come by public transit.

Inside Central Site Hapjeong: mood and seating

Through the big window you get a full view of the green park outside, and the whole store carries a gentle, fragrant coffee aroma — such a charming place.

True to being a roastery café, the smell of roasting beans fills the atmosphere at Central Site.

Indoor seating has 2-top and 4-top tables, and there are also seats outside.

The restroom is outside the shop, up a half-flight of stairs, and you can ask staff for the passcode.

Central Site is such an appealing place where the aroma and flavor of the hand-drip coffee change depending on the bean.

If you don't know much about coffee, it's a good idea to ask staff for a recommendation ^^ Depending on whether you like acidity or a nutty, heavier style, the same drip coffee can feel completely different — that's the charm of hand-drip.

With big ice cubes and a glass that feels like you're drinking whiskey ^^ this is drip coffee where you slowly notice the lingering aroma in your mouth after each sip.

We went for coffee and ended up feeling like we'd had a whole atmospheric coffee experience. The soft tiramisu that paired so well with the coffee had a moist, layered texture that matched perfectly.

Who should visit Central Site Hapjeong

Central Site Hapjeong is great for going solo for a drip coffee and tiramisu, or for coffee with a partner or friends. Since drip coffee changes so much depending on the bean, I already want to come back and try a different one next time. If you want to enjoy the combination of drip coffee and tiramisu, definitely give this place a visit.
