It's only 191m from Exit 1 of Gwacheon Government Complex Station, so public transit access is great, and the parking lot is spacious too, so driving there was convenient.

As befits a large Gwacheon salon, the interior was really spacious and the stations were set far apart, so I could get treated privately without bumping into other customers. And above all, the cleanliness was top-tier! They run a Cesco air perfume system for a state-of-the-art scent solution alongside regular disinfection management.

Dry scalp care that starts with a scalp diagnosis

One & Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station has a scalp diagnosis machine. Even though it's a hair salon and not a dedicated scalp clinic, it's equipped with professional gear, which was reassuring.

Before the treatment, they diagnosed my scalp condition first. They listened to my usual concerns and state, looked at my scalp directly, and suggested a solution. My scalp was on the dry side with some buildup. They told me that managing the scalp regularly helps prevent hair loss and even helps with face lifting, so I'm going to keep getting scalp clinics steadily haha😁 Manager Minjeong didn't oversell anything — she explained and recommended only what was actually necessary. Best👍

First, to scrub away old buildup and sebum, she carefully applied a scalp-specific ampoule.

Then, using a steamer, she added moisture while softening up the old buildup on the scalp.

What the head spa in the massage chair is like

Next, I got my scalp cleaned in a dedicated head spa room. The bed was actually a massage chair, so I could get a body massage while getting scalp care at the same time~

One & Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station also has the head spa machine that's been all over Instagram lately~ My body got massaged in the chair while warm running water washed away the old buildup and impurities on my scalp — such a healing experience.

Among the various Ojua care products suited to different scalp and hair types, I got the moisturizing one aimed at fixing scalp dryness. Beyond just shampooing, she massaged from the scalp down through the neck and shoulders, so circulation felt better and it was so refreshing. It even felt like puffiness went down!

Then she sprayed on a heat protectant

and dried it with a blow dryer to finish~
