Sejong mall restaurant lunch with apple mango juice: Le Garden Bleu

I went to browse Kyobo Bookstore in AK Plaza and got hungry looking for a lunch spot, so I ended up at Le Garden Bleu, a Western restaurant!

Where Le Garden Bleu is, opening hours and how to reserve

Le Garden Bleu is on the 1st floor of KT&G Sejong Tower A (Nike building), 411 Hannuri-daero, Sejong. Hours are 11:00–21:00, with a break time from 14:50–17:30, and it's closed every Sunday.

Naver Reservation is available too, so if you're visiting during peak lunch or dinner hours, I'd recommend booking ahead!

Parking at AK Plaza: 5 hours free

You can use the underground parking at the AK Plaza building, and after your meal you can register for 5 hours of free parking. This is the first time I've seen a restaurant in Sejong give such generous parking time.. whoa

We even grabbed coffee at a nearby café after eating and still had plenty of parking time left — so convenient 👍👍

Finding the entrance and what the dining room looks like

The store is to the right of the yellow escalator you'll see heading from the central floor fountain toward the Nike store. What you see in the photo is the restaurant, but the entrance is around the back!

This is the Le Garden Bleu entrance!! Go in here and staff will show you to a seat. I visited around 1pm, a bit past the lunch rush, and since I'd booked in advance via Naver, I got in right away.

The store is decorated with wooden tables and chairs, giving it an overall clean, comfortable feel.

There's group seating too, so it seemed like a lot of office workers come in during lunch hours.

What's on the menu at Le Garden Bleu, including wine

The menu has a wide variety — pasta, risotto, pizza — so I spent a while deciding what to order.

There was also a good range of drinks and alcohol, especially quite a lot of wine! I don't know much about wine, but they have both red and white, sold by the bottle too. If you're visiting in the evening, pairing wine with your food sounds like a good idea.

Chinese-style seafood rigatoni pasta, ₩19,000. I wanted something a bit spicy so I ordered based on the name alone, but it wasn't as spicy as I expected! The moment I took a bite it tasted like a fancy Chinese dish I'd had somewhere before — after thinking about it a while, I felt it was pretty similar to yusanseul (three-delicacy) sauce.

The sauce clung well to the rigatoni, and I liked that there was a good variety of seafood — shrimp, blue crab, mussels, surf clams. The seafood portion was more generous than I expected, and overall the flavor was solidly good.

Gangwon handmade potato gnocchi with sweet corn tomato ragu, 19,000 won

Gangwon handmade potato gnocchi with sweet corn tomato ragu sauce, ₩19,000. The gnocchi had a pretty strong potato flavor and a chewy texture. The yellow sauce on top seemed to be sweet corn sauce, but there wasn't much of it, so overall the tomato ragu flavor stood out more.

This was my first time trying gnocchi with a ragu sauce, so I was curious and ordered it — but since the sauce was so rich, I felt like it kind of masked the gnocchi's own clean potato flavor a bit ㅜㅜ So personally, I preferred eating the gnocchi and sauce separately rather than coating it too much!! If you usually like a rich tomato ragu sauce, this would suit you well!

🥭🥤 + Apple mango juice, ₩5,500. I ordered it to drink alongside the food — sweet and refreshing, good for sipping between bites.

Is Le Garden Bleu worth it for an AK Plaza shopping day?

Overall, the menu isn't just the usual pasta types — with things like the Chinese-style rigatoni or the ragu-sauce gnocchi, there was a fun element of choosing something a little different. I noticed other tables ordering a lot of the earthenware pot dishes too, which seems to be a popular item, so I want to try that next time!

Also, with 5 hours of free parking, it was easy to leisurely browse AK Plaza or Kyobo Bookstore, or hit a nearby café after the meal.
