It had been ages since I craved really, really good pasta / gnocchi / pizza, so I quickly went and ate with my mom haha. We visited Olibus, known as a pasta hotspot in Eojin-dong, Sejong!!
We reserved for weekday lunch at 1pm, and even though I thought it was the tail end of lunchtime, of course it's Olibus,, the place was fully booked, so I really recommend making a reservation before visiting.
Olibus Eojin-dong Flagship opening hours

[Weekdays] Lunch: 11am–2:30pm / Dinner: 5pm–8:30pm. [Weekends/Holidays] 11am–8pm. Note that weekday and weekend hours differ!!
Where to park at Olibus? SBC Center underground lot, 1 hour 45 minutes
Use the business center commercial building's parking lot. It goes down to B3, so there's plenty of parking space.

You get 1 hour 45 minutes of parking with a meal. Street parking in front of the store is also possible during meal hours. Check the timing and street parking could work well too.
Finding Olibus: red awning sign, 1st floor of SBC Center Building B

Olibus Italian Restaurant, easy to spot with its red tent sign >___< on the 1st floor of the business center's Building B!! After parking, come up to the 1st floor and turn slightly and it's right there.
Inside Olibus: seating and why a reservation is essential

The interior is on the cozy side. About six 4-person tables. This photo was taken after we left, past lunch hour! During meal times it fills up completely, so I recommend reserving ahead. As always, hotspots require reservations.

Clean, calm interior with nicely-chosen decor 🧡🍕 There aren't really many pretty restaurants like this in Sejong,,,😂

Blue Ribbon awards lined up. No idea how good it's going to be @.@
Text pre-orders and QR ordering at Olibus
Since I'd reserved ahead, they let me know that pre-ordering the menu by text was also an option. Text pre-order is optional and you just reply by 30 minutes before your reservation. I couldn't discuss the menu with mom beforehand so we just picked in-store haha.

Ordering is done via the QR code on the table. The menu you see through the QR code has more detailed descriptions, so it was nice to read through slowly and choose!
What we ordered at Olibus and what it cost
- Kabocha (sweet pumpkin) gnocchi ₩18,900
- Red shrimp rosé panne ₩18,900
- Cinnamon pear gorgonzola pizza ₩17,900

The waiting time after ordering 🤤 There was a period when gnocchi was so good I went around trying it everywhere, but gnocchi..is kind of pricey, right ㅠ So I tried making it at home once and realized it's a dish that takes a huge amount of effort, and ever since then I just buy it outside no matter what. Gnocchi is allowed to be expensive. It's worth it! I heard Olibus's kabocha gnocchi is their best menu item so I was so excited.
Red shrimp rosé panne at Olibus
The red shrimp rosé panne came out first!!! 🦐🦐

Two delicious red shrimp came out so mom and I each had one, yum. The shrimp were plump and grilled beautifully. They even gave us scissors and disposable gloves so we could eat the shrimp comfortably. Grilled shrimp after a long while — so good,,
Cinnamon pear gorgonzola pizza
While we were eating the shrimp, the cinnamon pear gorgonzola showed up. It's a gorgonzola pizza topped with simmered pear, and it's genuinely delicious.

The honey comes in a cute little bear-shaped container, so I drizzled it on generously 🤤👍
Kabocha (sweet pumpkin) gnocchi
While we were eating pizza, the kabocha gnocchi arrived right after!!!

This was the dish I was most looking forward to, and it was totally, completely satisfying,, The kabocha sauce and the chewy gnocchi go perfectly together, and even the nut and dried kabocha toppings didn't miss a beat. I scraped up every bit of the kabocha sauce too (it tastes like a nutty, creamy kabocha soup). I think I'll come back for this gnocchi soon.
Mom's verdict: the best Western restaurant in Sejong
And that completed today's lunch date menu with mom. She said it was so, so delicious and that it's the number one Western restaurant she's eaten at in Sejong.

Not a single dish missed the mark, everything was delicious, so every bite put me in a good mood,, Want to eat it again,,🤤🤤👍 I heard the potato soup is good too, so next time I should add that on!!!

Oh, and pickles are brought over if you ask for them. I was mindlessly munching along thinking 'cute cucumbers,' and then mom went 'should I ask for pickles!?' — turns out this cute drawing was actually the pickle notice ㅋ.ㅋ
Is Olibus Eojin-dong worth a lunch visit?
A convenient location right in central Sejong's Eojin-dong! Pretty interior, an upscale Italian restaurant, a Blue Ribbon spot, kind and spotless, distinctive menu and satisfying flavors. Very much recommend-!!!
